I have given some of these away as presents and everyone has told me that they were very satisfied with their longevity and I confirm that myself. The fact that they are biodegradable is the reason why I bought them, but I will keep buying this brand because of their good quality.

These are brilliant. They definitely last as long, if not longer, than their plastic equivalents, but much better for the environment. And so much nicer to touch too!

Quite good sponges, although the sponge part doesn't tend to last as long as a 'plastic' sponge would.

I love these sponges - they are much tougher than your plastic sponge and the best thing about them is that they’re biodegradable. I wouldn’t purchase anything else any more!

We tried natural loofah alternatives to normal dish scourers, but they were ineffective. These clean every bit as well as the plastic based scourers, last just as long and can be popped into the composter once they reach the end of a useful life (after 4 weeks in our house).

These are really good. They clean as well as the plastic ones, but last longer. They are easy to keep clean and hygenic too. Never going back to the plastic ones.

I do a lot of washing up by hand since I have no machine to do it. These sponges are very good. I like that I can put them in my home composting bin when I've finished with them. My only criticism is the scouring layer does peel off around the edges but didn't completely come off before I was finished with it.

Decent sponges that work OK when the scourer actually stays affixed, which is maybe only 50% of the time from my experience.As they are not fully boxed, someone has felt the need to wrap them in a plastic bag despite it being quite clear these are being bought to avoid such horrible plastic waste.Given that they are delivered in a plastic bag, and that they so often fall apart, its difficult to recommend these as there are other sponges on amazon that are not wrapped in plastic and tend to stay in one piece.
