Very good knife for the price
Same quality as they were years ago. I got this knife for cleaning deer. I haven't got to do that yet but have an alligator. It worked great! Knife sharpens well and stays sharp.

One knife to last you all your days!
Old Hickory makes the best knives for the buck...IMHO. The are pretty plain-jane as knives go but their high carbon alloy enables the user to obtain a quick but durable "shaving edge." I probably give 3-4 of these Old Hickory shinning knives away as birthday/Christmas or jus' because gifts every year. I'm presently reforming an OH Skinner to the Nessmuk pattern for a young hunter friend of mine.

Another Old Hickory Knife I Wanted Just to Complete My Collection of OH Knives
Couldn't resist this skinning knife. I don't use it for skinning game but it's a pretty good veggie chopper with it's very curved blade much like the Alaskan Uloo knife. Just rock it back and forth over veggies using both hands and before you know it, you have a nice chopped salad,
