IC International Concepts OT-70SL Server Table, 60 in W x 16 in D x 34.5 in H, Unfinished

I have all the 😍 for this sofa table. I had been stalking craigslist for a farmhouse sofa table for about 6 months but everyone wanted too much for theirs. By happenstance, I found a blogger (Baby Rabies) who bought something similar on amazon and JOY OF ALL JOYS, it was real wood and could be finished however the buyer wanted it!!!! I purchased it right away but unfortunately it had to sit boxed up for the next couple of weeks as the hurricanes hit us here in Florida. As soon as our house was back in order I unboxed this baby and fell in love. At first, I thought about leaving it unfinished, but a mis-placed drink and a water stain convinced me to finish my project. I white washed the bottom, stained the top with minwax (walnut color), and poly’ed the whole thing. It took about 2 full weekends. It would have been 3 but I got impatient with the polyurethane and my coats weren’t thin and even. It’s ok, you can’t tell unless you are close up! It’s been almost 6 months and I get so many complements!!!

Nice solid piece. Just what I wanted to hold books/games/puzzles. No MDF or particleboard. Fairly easy to assemble though heavy and much easier with two people.Cons:- Some of the wood is finger jointed. If you are staining, some of the finger joints may be visible.- One of the cross pieces was not fully pegged and had 1/8" gap. Minor flaw that I could fill and live with.- The bolts were not aligned properly for attaching one of the vertical supports which complicated assembly.- Furniture floor pads are placed at each corner, but the middle sagged (approx 1/4") and I added a pad in the middle to prevent bowing.- A few small spots did not stain properly/evenly due to glue residue or something else...it would not sand out either. If you are a perfectionist, staining may not be best.I stained it a mid-tone wood color in two coats and sanded between coats since it became rough in places. Very happy overall with how it turned out. I could always paint later if the stain didn't turn out well, but reversing paint isn't as easy.

This is made so well and so simple to assemble I am so pleased with this bookcase console I actually have two of these beautiful consoles added them both to my Living Room gives off a Beach 🏝 Cottage Style but so elegant and sophisticated I Love them and I bought the small-side table to match them and I bought the Coffee table 36x36 I am going to stencil all the pieces

Best "mistake buy" I have made. I thought I was buying sofa tables and accidentally bought 2 servers. During our remodel we realized we could make them work!. We bought unfinished and painted one to match our new kitchen cabinets. The second one we stained in Espresso.

This is a great piece of furniture! I chose it because I wanted an unfinished piece that I could paint and stain to match my new dining set. This definitely feels like “real furniture”. It’s very sturdy and required very little sanding before painting and staining. When it arrived, the table top had been cracked in shipping, but customer service was great and they sent a replacement top right out to me. Assembly took less than 15 minutes with an extra pair of hands.

Love, love, love this piece of furniture. Sturdy, heavy, and great quality. It weighs 99 lbs. Easy to whitewash with chalk paint and polyacrylic over everything with light sanding in between coats. I kept the top natural with many coats of polyacrylic in case someone doesn’t bother to use a coaster. I bought the coffee table from wayfair but they wanted $40 more for this console table. Can’t beat prime! Whoop, whoop!

I have been looking forever for a piece of furniture that could replace the ugly wire rack in my kitchen. It needed to hold the weight of a microwave and have the right dimensions for shelving. It fits everything perfectly. Assembly was easy. It's solid wood. I'm leaving it unstained until I have a house and decide where it's permanent home will be. But it looks great as is! I'm so happy I discovered the concept of unfinished furniture by international concepts (and other companies) because this is what I'm going to do from now on. The option to personalize it with my choice of paint or stain is perfect, not to mention cheaper. Highly recommend going this route.

I just rececieved this piece. It was packaged very well and heavy. This is definitely a solid piece of furniture. The wood is beautiful. I can't wait to stain it and put it together. I would give this piece a 10 if I could. I have not assembled it yet, but does look pretty easy. Very nice!
