Bare Republic SPF 30 Lip Balm-Mojito

This is my PERFECT Lip balm! I live in a high-UV city, middle of the desert, 10% humidity (cracking skin *AllTheTime*),110+ degrees in the summer (like 80% of the time, no joke) OH, AND I am *covered* in freckles... it's a terrible combination. I NEED and SPF lip balm, not optional, necessary. However I'm not only chemical-toxicity conscious (most chemical sunscreens cause cancer, just FYI), I'm also an ocean-lover and know that many SPF lip balms contain ingredients that are killing the coral reefs, causing little baby coral to suffocate in their skeletons, terrible right? This one doesn't. Reef-safe sunscreen ingredients so i don't feel bad about wearing it out to our beach trips, hooray! It also doesn't leave my lips feeling dry, they're moisturized right when I apply it and they stay that way unlike some other balms. My favorite part though is that it really does go on clear! There's no White (zinc) residue or off-color!This balm is perfect really, except for the price, I wish it were more affordable.

This is the only SPF lip balm I buy anymore. It smells good and goes on smoothly without feeling thick or goopy. It works really well to protect my lips, which are always sensitive to sunburn when I'm outside. It just feels very natural and always works well. I can't say anything bad about it.

Love having a physical, non chemical spf...just don’t care for the scent.other reviews mention that it doesn’t last long, but I can’t wear this on or near my face because the smell really does linger and isn’t pleasant for me. Doesn’t smell vanilla coconut at all to me.

This is the only lip sunscreen I've ever used that kept my lips protected for HOURS and didn't irritate them! I've used on the beach and in the mountains. It's the ONLY one I must take with me everywhere!! (PS I almost never write reviews. This one is a keeper!)
