Whink RUSTGuard Bowl Cleaner, 2 count (Pack of 6)

Have been using these for years and they work very good. I discovered them while researching products to try to clean our toilets with. We have a well and very hard water. Calcium builds really bad in the bowl and is like concrete to try to remove. No problems with these tablets!

When we moved into the home, the interior of the toilet tank was white. Over the years, with hard water, well water, it has just looked terrible and was a breeding ground for bacteria.Put one each on two separate tanks, been watching-they are steadily getter whiter again as the rust stains slough off. The standing water looks clear in one. Toilet bowl also very clean-no rust. Will update. Great product. Each lasts about 4-6 weeks, sometimes longer.Update: After many months & regular use, the tanks are now white with just a small rust line at the top where the water doesn't really go. The water went from rusty dark brown-black to perfectly clear. Use 'em now as maintenance, to keep the bowls very clean. (Got better things to do than scrub away at rust with pumice!).

This did not work. The water in my toilet bowl is dirty gray and the rust line is still here.. I had to scrub it like I always did. I am sorry I gave it a second chance with another tablet now it is too late to return it. $27 down the toilet.

I bought this hoping it would take off the rust ring in my toilet bowl. It hasn't done that but does seem to have lightened it slightly. I know it works because my tank was a dark red/brown color almost dark brown it was so thick. Now the part where the water sits is pure white. Although it didn't completely take off the ring in the toilet bowl, the areas where I've gotten rust off with other areas have not gotten restained due to using it. I would buy it again just for that. It's not a miracle product but it does work very well, better than most things I've tried.

I use well water that has a lot of minerals in it. For years my toilet looked dirty, but it was just an accumulation of the minerals, especially tannin and iron. Whink RustGuard has substantially reduced the effects, and even though it does not totally neutralize the rust and tannin, it makes cleaning the bowl back to sparkling white so much easier and almost eliminates the accumulation in the tank. I no longer need to offer explanations to my guests.

I bought this product based on several good reviews here. However it did not work out so well for me. While the tablets did a decent job of getting rid of rust and lime in the tank, it really didn't do much for the toilet bowl itself.Previously, I was using the Kaboom system for my toilets, which treats the water going directly into the bowl. It's too expensive, though. What I might try is cutting up one of these tablets, and placing it in the Kaboom tablet container. If that works, I will edit my review.

Quality product , bought many times. Always the same efficient results. Wish packaging was not quite so hard to open. I didn't like getting it the product on my hands. Wish it just plopped in from package. oh well, probably just my personal phobias. Nothing wrong at all with product.

Disappointed. The tablets work best on rust inside the tank. They crumble within a week as they do their job. After 10 days the discoloration returns to the bowl. There is no fragrance. I'm going back to other brands with Clorox. Who cares what the inside of the tank looks like?
