Our 4 year old daughter is a natural born drummer and we wanted to get her a drum kit for Christmas, only we didn't have room for it or the money to get one so we decided to buy this instead. When the package arrived, I was confused at first because the box was so little. Upon opening it, I realized the drum pad is super thin like paper and rolls up (I must have totally skipped that part in the description), but I wasn't disappointed. It makes for easier storage this way! Another thing I must have read over is that it doesn't have a built in speaker. You have to hook it to an external one or use headphones (sweet, glorious, QUIET headphones! So much better of an alternative than a loud drum kit!) Anyways, my daughter loves it so mission accomplished! I like how it has different melodies that she can drum along to. We haven't fully explored all of it's features yet, including the foot petals, but so far I am very pleased with this drum machine and would recommend it to anyone reading this.

I bought it as a toy for my five-year-old. I took it out of the box to test it. I was blown away by the sound. Two hours later I realize I have been playing with this way too long for it to be a toy, hahahaha.Honestly, you are going to be so happy with this purchase. I put it back in the box so I can give it him and try to pass it off as new again, never been used lol. Hey it's a perk of being a dad. We taste food and play with cool toys first. I'm not kidding, if he gets possessive of it I'll just get one for myself cuz at this price I can do that.Pros- the sound is amazing! I can plug in speakers for all to hear or better yet headphones. The headphones are great especially when your little ones practice a lot. My wife appreciates that fact.Cons- one but only sort of, it's the perfect size for most. For us larger men a little bigger would be nice but not a big deal and definitely not a deal breaker, does not affect the play time, hahaha, obviously two hours later I was still at it.

We purchased the drum set for an autistic grandson, 11 years old, who loves to pretend to drum on anything with his hands. I wish I could send a picture of his face when he first began to beat on it with the drum stick. He was enthralled and kept at it for at least 30 minutes which is unusual for him. We were really happy with our purchase.

My daughter loves her electronic drum set. She started to show an interest in drums and asked Santa for a drum set. This seemed like a great start. It is easy to set up and plugs into headphones or computer speakers for sound.

I love this but haven't used it enough to really enjoy it I will shortly, they sound just like drums and you do not have to get a hernia caring them around. They are not as pretty and real drums but what the hey they are much more convenient..

A genius made this because you can't hear it without head phones or some other kind of audio jack. God bless this person.
