Q: how can it be fixed to the ground to withstand the frequent gale force winds ? take the net off ? shipping charges are very high !!!

It has 4 horseshoe shaped metal pegs that you secure the base to the ground. I've had ours out in v strong winds and no need to remove the net. Theres no much for the wind to catch on to anyway - worst case it would just blow over.

Q: Could this net be used on concrete just thinking how would I secure it

It will stand up on its own but will move every time the ball hits the net or posts. You could weigh it down with sand bags or something. Or maybe sink some eyebolts into the concrete and secure the bottom frame with cable ties.

Ours is still operational after 8 years of use. It has even survived covid lockdown with a twenty year old and a teen-ager using it every day. My husband joined in as well a number of times. It has out lived the shed window an uncountable number of footballs and a not insignificant number of garden plants. My husband was also a football coach and he has not complained about the quality so it must be good!
