Nuclear Physics: A Very Short Introduction

I was looking for a brief but detailed description of nuclear physics and this little book fit the bill. I wished that I had this when I was an undergrad in EE.

New nothing much about nuclear physics, until I read this book. I have a little more knowledge now on this subject. thanks to this easy to read book.

This small 123 page book by Frank Close provides a light once over read on nuclear physics covering the last 100 years or so, right up to 2015. If you already know some part of the nuclear physics story this book will bring you up to date and fill you in on the big picture.
