Good for what they are
The product is on the more expensive end of the spectrum £175. 00. For four phones ( 1 is the base station phone plus three others ) Quite easy to set up once you play with the settings etc and I did not need to read much of the instructions however if you are not used to electronics or menus to set up things it will definately confuse the uninitiated or your granny . Once you’ve set it up the first phone with time and date and chosen ringtone and paired it to the base station it’s easy from there on as the second third and fourth phone automatically take the time and date etc from the first phone during the pairing process— easyPROSGood reception around the house in different rooms from the main base station even for larger homesNice big numbers and keypadClear display that even flashes red if you miss a call when out ( even if no message left )Rechargeable batteries included in box for all phonesActually made in Germany whether that makes them better quality or longer lasting remains to be seen8/10 for ease of set up.Sound quality is good during useCONSprice £175 is up to double other choices of branded offering ( notably Panasonic etc ) for a similar set upBuild quality is no better than a Panasonic quad set I bought 15 years ago that this replacesRingtone choice is poor , there is a choice but not any great choices very average and uninspiredVolume even at max on ringtone / speaker or earpiece could do with just being a tad higher as the population ages and hearing is not what it once was ( not deaf or using a hearing aid you understand ) it could be difficult to hear clearlySome options - receiving texts , calendar mode for appointments etc and alarm setting to be honest is overly complicated , features that 99% of users will never use and frankly a waste of timeConclusionRecommend 8/10. Is it worth paying this quite large premium ? I don’t think so it’s at least 40% to 50% more expensive than similar offerings but is in my opinion not worth that premium in reality

Good sound quality
Nice and easy to set up. You can update phone book on all three phones form one phone , which makes it easy to maintain the contacts. Good battery life. I bought these to replace some older Panasonic phones that had poor battery life and talk time (due to age) . These are nice to hold, not too heavy but feel like nice quality. I think the menus could be easier but you soon get used to them. A bit on the expensive side when you compare to similar products, what swayed me to spend was the HD sound.

Waste of money! Avoid!
Had it just over a year and already the batteries are failing! If I could I’d be taking it all back and asking for a refund. The sound quality is poor, battery life appaling and general quality very poor. Never buy again.Firstly it does look good but the usability really lets it down. I only have the old Panasonic we replaced to compare it to, so here does. When somebody rang us the P used to display their name, the G just shows the number calling. When entering all the numbers we wanted to store and making additions, the P used to immediately transfer the changes to all the other handsets, with the G you have to transfer to each handset individually manually.Sound quality is definitely of lower quality than the P.Given the opportunity I would send this back and replace it with another Panasonic but unfortunately I no longer have the packaging and I have left it too long imagining that things would improve. I would suggest that you loom further if you are wanting to replace your house phones.

Bought for Grandma and Grandad
My wifes mother wanted to replace their home phone as they couldn't really hear it anymore. She had popped to Argos and bought a unit but it was quiet and not really what they wanted. I offered to get them a louder model and after much hunting for loudness information settled on this as it was a newer version of our house phone and that has proved robust and reliable and important easy to hear from a distance. This phone is much easier to use that her old one and is easy enough for an over 70 to pickup quickly. I also was so pleased that transferring her phone numbers was also very easy to do, on the new phone at least. If you have multiple units you set up the Address book on the main one and then update each phone from that. Having had the phone now for a few weeks she is really pleased as they can hear it upstairs and the sound quality is clear. We bought her a two handset system as she is not that mobile and that has also proved to be a big plus for her. So now there are two happy households with Gigaset C series phones

Good product & performance
Well made, quality product. Good sound performance. Installation & programming are reasonably straightforward, although User Guide could be made a little clearer for some advanced features. One relatively minor issue with sets of 2,3,4,5 or 6 handsets; when storing directory numbers on one handset, you'll need to copy / paste onto every other handset (versus other products where directory is stored centrally for all handsets). Sound quality on (answer / recording) base unit is very tinny (not good), although you can retrieve messages from handsets which delivers much better sound. Overall quite impressive and recommended, although rather expensive.
