NICE Little Artist Gadget!!!
LOVE THIS THING!!! Wish I had bought it years ago for art. You know why it rocks? Because you can use paint and inks with it and not worry about messing up a ruler or the straight edge of something else, and it keeps your art utensil perfectly straight while drawing the line. 10000/10 would buy again.

No more wasted paper!
I have never written a straight line in my life. No matter how careful I am, sympathy, and thank you notes just look sloppy. This gadget allows me to write fluidly once I put in faint straight lines on paper.. Great little gadget

Took me awhile to FIND this!
I spent a lot of money buying the packages of stencils - hoping there would be something to work on my 5 x 7 personal notecards. This came with 2 of the same "line spacing". 1 - very firm stencil (to lay down over the 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper) and 2 - more flexible (like to use in a bound diary, etc.) I wish the maker would offer something like a "college ruled" version. I feel like I have to WRITE BIG! But for those of us who don't write in a straight line, this is perfect to lightly trace the lines with a soft lead pencil and then I use a white polymer eraser afterwards. Only you and I know my secret now.

If You Are an Artist - Don't...
I gave it two stars because the concept is fantastic, however, if you are using anything but the sharpest pencil on the smoothest paper, it's a no-go. My Micron .05 pen will only fit in three of the holes to make circles. The center point is in a slot and marked with an arrow - (not a hole), and the point of reference takes a magnifying glass to see. The LePen .001 fits, but if you make a circle and lift off, try to use the same point to make another circle... good luck. If you use textured paper, the circle tool will get stuck on the paper, and you risk screwing up the perfect circle to start it again. This thing is probably great using a .05 mechanical pencil in a math class on notebook paper, but if you want to use it to make art, stick with a compass and a protractor. I returned it...
