I hate smelling sponges and I hate dirty ones. These are cheap enough I don’t feel bad tossing them away when a cycle in the dishwasher can’t clean them. They can also stand up to a tile grout project. I was able to grout behind a toilet and around a vanity with 1 sponge and toss it away afterwards. We use different colors for each room so family doesn’t grab the dish sponge for say cleaning the bathroom ect..

They work very nicely at cleaning pots and pans. We thoroughly clean them with soap and water, squeeze out all the water, and let them dry overnight. Some mornings they smell like they have an odor of spoiling food. We do not know if this is a characteristic of using cellulose rather than actual sponge, or a different issue altogether.

First of all, I did not know the product was compressed... But a friend suggested I run one compressed sponge under a faucet and the sponge expanded just like the Ocello sponges in supermarkets. I love them. I bought some a few months ago and their longevity exceeds name brands. I highly recommend them. They take up little space until you get them wet.

Love the compactness. Expands to full size when it gets wet. Great value. Just be aware that the color may bleed a little at first few uses. It was the pink one, and I was alarmed til I figured out what it was. It seems to be clearing up now.
