Scotch Gift Wrap Tape, 3 Rolls, The Go-to Tape for The Holidays, 3/4 x 300 Inches, Dispensered (311)

I discovered this tape by accident years ago. I was at Target shopping for tape and I come across "gift wrap" tape. I thought, "Gift wrap tape? Really? Another form of tape—specifically for gift wrapping?" I bought it anyway as I like to try interesting new products. Let me tell you, this is one of Scotch's best tapes.The main reason it's the best is because of the satin "gift wrap" finish. The satin finish makes the tape look invisible on gift wrapping paper. Before this, I thought their Transparent Tape was the best. It has now been surpassed.An alternative use to this (and my main reason for using this) is taping down the spines of paperback books. I have taped all my books and they all look like new in my book shelves, at least from only looking at the spines. If you clean your spine and put this tape on, it applies cleanly without air bubbles (if you maintain a clean environment). Recommended!

Works Great!

As promised, Scotch gift Wrap Tape is the oly gift wrap tape I will use. It tears easily and if a mistake is made, if peeled gently off, no mar is left on the gift wrap.

This gift tape is a little bit narrower than what I usually use, but it's just fine. I think the price is good for what you get. If you've ever used Scotch Gift Tape before you know what to expect from the product--adheres well, and is less visible than other tapes.

This tape is as good or better than the name brands and the price is so much lower. The dispenser is very good quality and tape has very good adhesion and holds up very well. This tape is the same, if not better, quality than name brands and so much better than discount tape which is higher priced.

Tape is one of those things that always seems to disappear when you most need it. When this popped up as a Lightning deal around the holidays, we couldn't pass it up. We had been in our apartment for a few months and had never purchased tape, so the timing was great.The 3-pack was so handy when we were wrapping tons of gifts at the same time around the holidays. We didn't have to share when tape was at a premium.Regarding the quality of the tape, it's great. See through and sticky. Can't go wrong. Doesn't even look like it's there!For all of these reasons, highly recommend.

This is my go-to tape for wrapping presents. It is easy to tear off or cut, and when it is placed on gift wrapping paper it completely disappears -unlike the traditional Scotch tape which is more easily tearable, but which has a cloudy film on the tape. Look, no one is going to care if you use the regular tape, but if you are going for a cleaner, more professional look, go with the purple Scotch gift wrap tape instead of the green Scotch regular tape.

Tape worked as it ought to. It was easy to use and the the adhesion was strong. The thickness was perfect. Excellent product, I’d recommend to anyone looking for tape!
