You can do it
Absolutely amazing. My furnace stopped blowing out hot heat and I had thought it was the flame sensor but wanted an initial assessment. I was quoted ~$350 to have this piece replaced. Absolutely not, so to Amazon I went! This piece was clean and works great! Packaging and instructions helped me install.

2024 Flame Sensor for Goodman Gas Furnace
Worked perfectly for Goodman.Typically, if the Furnace turns on then off within a few seconds after flame up it usually means the flame sensor is not proving flame detection. You can remove the sensor and very lightly sans with a Brillo pad of super find sand paper. Being careful to not scratch the probe too much. But, to have an extra new sensor in your bag of tricks will give you peace of mind in case it’s the middle of winter at -17° below zero. And the cleaning trick doesn’t work, you’ll have a backup plan!

So far so good.
Fit ok. Had to bend the sensor so it matched the original angle on the one I replaced. Installed a few weeks a go. so far so good.

Works on generic furnace model GF9S100C20DH11H
I was having ignition problems on my furnace, so since I was already replacing my ignition switch, I figured I might as well replace the flame sensor while I'm at it. The part I received works and is brand new.I have an oddball furnace (see headline), which usually fits most York parts. This part fit, BUT the screw hole did not line up with the old mount (this one is further out). Rather having to drill new holes everywhere, I rotated this part (once installed) so that the screw hole was visible and I used a large head screw which went over the lip of the mounting bracket to hold it down. It still fits snugly and operates correctly, and that's what is important.Only the one complaint, mounting bracket not lining up like my original part did.
