Q: Where is this filter made? And what grade of stainless steel is it made from?

The filter is made of polished Type 304 (18-8) Stainless Steel in Anping County, China.

Q: My Dripper does not make coffee any more -- just an occasional drip. Any advice for me?

There are a couple things you can do to unclog a clogged filter. The first thing I would try is to put the filter in the dishwasher face down. Next I would soak it overnight in vinegar and then rinse well. You can also use a coffee pot descaler chemical. Once you get it cleaned, make sure you thoroughly rinse immediately after use and let dry upside down. Also, don't use a fine grind as that will clog any filter. If you must use a fine grind, consider using paper filters with the dripper. I hope this helps and you can get back to enjoying your dripper again soon.
