Professional quality for less.
Exceptional quality for value price. This is an excellent pedal and works better than I ever expected. I have a Pearl Eliminator and when I got this pedal the Peark became my spare. The Roots pedal puts me in mind of the old Tama Iron Cobra. They are exactly alike. After tweaking some structural screws that hold it together, it is rock solid. The footboard is not a completely flat surface from end to end. I was able to velcro at the tip of the pedal and the end. The middle section is a 1/4 inch of the floor. Makes it too hight to install velcro. I have still had a great time playing the Roots Series bass drum pedal from Strongwood Drums.
