This is a great lunch box! The perfect size for an adult taking healthy proportions and gives you many options on how to organize and separate your meals. There are two compartments on top and can be two on the bottom, though I use it as one large compartment for rice. The microwavable feature is one of the main reasons I chose this box and after using it several times I can say that it holds up well and is good at heating up your food evenly. It's easy to clean and it keeps your food cold, though I do put it in a lunch box as well. It's completely leak proof, like for reals, but I wouldn't recommend putting liquids or sauses in it since they will not stay separated inside the container. The company seems reliable and reaches out as an effort to make a great product. They have good customer service as far as I've experienced. If you are looking for a traditional bento box with modern features, this is the one for you. The only niggle for me is that it only has one color. I bet that they will add more colors over time though, so when they do I will buy one of these for my roommate.

I did a lot of research on lunch box options and settled on this for myself and my husband. Overall, it's done it's job and I have few complaints.Pros:It holds food and portions it nicely if you are concerned with that sort of thing. I like how the bottom trays are removable in case I want lots of food in there (I usually do).It comes with a built in ice pack which I've had no problems inserting or removing. I do follow a previous review and make sure to freeze them horizontally so I don't have any issues with bulging.Food stored in the bottom container doesn't come into contact with the upper "floor"It looks nice (not horribly important but yeah, image does matter in your workplace)Cons:While the top and bottom compartments don't mix, at each level food will leak into the left and ride sides. It's not a big deal for me but if you are super picky about flavors cross contaminating, you may want to keep looking.It won't sit flat in many lunch bags or if it does, it takes up the whole bag (see pictures). You can put it in length-ways or do all sorts of angles but then your food WILL get pushed together (slightly less likely if you can put it in the bottom of the bag or even better, do that and then put something somewhat heavy on top so it won't move around). You ideally want some sort of triangle lunch bag with this. Why do I care about this? See next point.The container is not insulted. So it works best to use it in conjunction with a bag around it while the ice pack is inserted. No chill needed? This is not your problem then.The logo comes off after a few runs through the dishwasher (again, not terribly important but notable)Overall, I'm pleased and would buy again for my purposes.

Ideal solution for homemade lunchable-style lunches. Bottom layer has two removable holders. Can remove them for an open layer that fits a plain sandwich that’s not too thick (think pb&j or lunch meat & cheese w/o a lot of lettuce, tomato, etc.). Upper layer has a built in divider creating two halves. Great for smaller portions. Possibilities are endless.Ice pack comes with and fits in its own section in between top and bottom layers. I don’t use that though because I keep mine in office fridge. Still - glad I have it if I need it.Clean up is easy. And everything is dishwasher safe. I bought 3 so I wouldn’t have to wash every night. May get more for husband too. Very pleased with this purchase!

This bento is nice and my high school daughter loves it. But after only a week of use I've noticed two of the four lid latches have weakened considerably. They almost flop off leaving only two latches to secure the lid. I don't have great faith the box will last the school year.

This is the perfect size for a lunch! I really like that the ice pack is included in the middle of the pack so I don’t have to worry about one sliding around. I’ve tossed this in my backpack many times in a rush and it’s never busted open or leaked. I’m very impressed with it so far! There’s also two levels to the latches in case it has been overfilled. I also like the seal on top to release pressure which I’ve had to use a few times. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants something small, durable, and stays cool! It’s also very easily cleaned with the smooth plastic.

Looked at a lot of boxes and liked this one the best. The ice pack fits perfect and makes it super convenient to keep your food cold and it provides just the right amount of modular storage to pack a neat and interesting lunch and not have to mix things together. No more soggy bread! Note that the trays inside are not sealed from each other though. If you keep this upright, or have generally solid lunch items this will never be a problem but if you put something runny in it, it can make a bit of a mess if you just toss in your backpack upside down or something. I'm just talking about the trays in the bottom mixing with each other though, it will not leak outside of the box, its sealed very well. I really love that the bottom trays are removable if you want to put something bigger in there. Fits one and a half sandwiches perfectly, Stacked, can fit more buy has to press the bread down just a little bit.

Will the extra $5 you can save on a different brand make a difference? Mayhaps, but why risk knowing if this one is in fact reliable.

Perfect for kids and adults. I was afraid that it would not hold enough food for me but I often end up bringing some home. The ice pack keeps everything cool and fresh. I wouldn’t recommend using this for anything with a lot of liquids but the compartments make it easy to take something to heat up as well as a salad.
