Q: Is this price for one bar/block of soap?

Yes. It is a large block though. I purchased a block in December, use it everyday, and still have enough to last me at least 2 more months I would guess.

Q: Can I use this to was my clothes

I haven't used to wash my clothes yet, though I suppose you can just like any regular soap. Not sure how much dirt you can remove from the clothes, but I can assure you it does wonder to your skin!

Q: Does the soap contain lye?

Since this is real soap, lye is used in the manufacturing process but is *completely* neutralized during the saponification process. Honestly, this soap is amazing for the skin with the laurel oil that's added. It cleanses very well and is gentle. I only use this soap in the shower and I've used it for a few years now. 10/10
