It's pretty small!
As always, I open my amazon package and think 'is that it?'! But boy, it packs a fair punch, for one so tiny. I've been using my Marshall headphones via Bluetooth for some time now. I thought I'd got new headphones, once connected to this little Hidizs product. Not only does it increase volume but th sound is now far clearer. One of th cheapest upgrades possible I'd imagine and definitely a positive upgrade. I'd highly recommended it.(it must be busy, it don't half get warm!)I suppose I should also mention th box it comes in. I pay more attention to th box quite often, when buying these kind of products and this doesn't disappoint with it's lazer etching. My only bleat would be th spacing of th lettering plus their grammar. But I'm guessing English is th producers second language so I'll let it slide!

Excellent sound - quite astonishing for form factor!
This arrived last week and I have listened through it extensively since. First the sound quality: it's great with precision treble, clear spacious mids and amazing deep, clear bass. Instruments are very well defined and separated.I would say the only thing - and it is a tiny thing - it that it somehow sounds perhaps too precise on some tracks - hard to put my finger on. Otherwise the sound is absolutely superb, fantastic to listen to on both 'phones and earbuds. The bass is something to truly enjoy with good earbuds!A couple of things to be aware of:1. Although power consumption is small (I think about 50mA), the unit gets quite warm (it is so tiny there is not much heat dissipating surface I guess) and also if you connect it to a small music player (which I do sometimes) it will drain the battery quite a bit (I reckon it reduces the Hidizs AP80 Pro player from about 6 hours to 3 hours). Of course with mobile phones this won't make much difference at all. I tend to use it via a USB C hub to mitigate this. The other small drawback is that with very sensitive earbuds, the volume is very high and you can really only use low settings (1-10 on the Hidizs AP80). This is OK, but it would be nice to have more range. Of course with headphones the volume range is fine. When you see how small and portable this device is (I still can't see how they pack everything in!) you will be amazed!Mike.

PAINFUL
Even at low levels it causes pain in the ear's ( digital technology i guess ) ive found this with others one being the Soundmagic A30 So I've had to go back a low cost UGREEN which is fine for on the Go use, and keep the D Cobalt for home use.

Good value dac
Use this with Samsung Galaxy phone and either Sennhiser or Sound Magic 11c wired phones/buds and the step up in sound quality is immediately noticeable compared to using same headphones without the dac. MQA support for tidal is also fantastic especially at this price. Shame MQA may not be around for much longer as that feature will become redundant if tidal support for MQA ends.

Does what it says
Dac is really good quality z reviews does a nice breakdown on this dac my only concern is that the plastic cover over the USB c connector is loose and could cause issues down the line for my self person I don't listen to music with this in my pocket so it won't be an issue for me however for anyone playing to use it on the go may run into an issues

Quality and build and reproduction of sound
Absolutely fantastic DAC. Once connected to my Android S22 Ultra! The sound reproduction is excellent! The Lows, Mids and Highs are excellent sounding via my device! 😉👌 Totally recommended DAC device!

Ultra HiRes audio through your phone????
It does exactly what Hidiz claim it does, decode MQA, play 24bit, up to 192khz audio quality music from your humble mobile phone. If your lucky enough to have a HiRes mobile phone, then you don't need this, however, us mere normal people are not wedged enough to spend £1500-2000 on a handset, so you just plug this gizmo in your usb C socket on your phone, plug a pair of half decent headphones into the gizmo, download either Tidal or Qobuz , sit back and enjoy High Resolution sound, brilliant

This small but mighty! Well worth
The difference is night and day between listening through the standard audio port of your choice on your phone or pc without a dac and this is one, I would highly recommend it, this my seem like a lot of money to shell out for a very small dongle DAC but those other £10 ones can't hold s candle to this one and I know because I have some.
