The food is rich and packed in a heavy-duty can. Excellent for kittens AND cats needing extra nutrition. This particular pack has a variety of textures and flavors. The Chicken Breast Formula (pink can) is a pureé...smooth like squeeze treat and baby food...no chewing needed. The Chicken Formula Au Jus (yellow can) is a mix of the smooth pureé and very thin chicken shreds. The Chicken & Pumpkin Formula (blue can) has a thicker consistency with plenty of gravy, small bits of chicken and pumpkin. All of my cats (from age 6-12 years old) LOVE the Chicken Breast Formula! The smooth texture was easily licked and melted in their mouth! These formulas have higher calories per can: Chicken Breast Formula: 1461 calories Chicken Formula: 1170 calories Chicken & Pumpkin: 1021 calories Works great for cats with appetite, chewing or constipation issues. Consider mixing with regular food or use a bit as a treat too. Highly recommend!!

i have cats from 4 different litters spanning from 4 months- 2 years. the youngest litter of kittens love this stuff while the other 3 litters arent impressed. depends on your particular cats palate but i have no choice but to continue buying it for now

My seventeen-year-old flame-point Himalayan (Siamese/Persian) is a loving little "princess kitten." But she rejected so many brands and flavors of wet food... I think she knows this Weruva Kitten, Chicken Au Jus is a healthy one, and also yummy. BUT-- she insists that I add a little water and blend it in a mixer to make a fairly thick soup. Half a can in the morning, half a can at night. Hint: The blue lid of a small mayo jar makes a perfect lid for this can.

Kittens LOVE and I really like bc the "au jus" is more like a gelee, not aspic, but a soft, hydrating formula. Its not a pate and its not shredded although there are pieces or shreds of chicken in it. I know its more $ but I think its worth it. Kittens are so fragile and need hydration. I believe this is one of the ways they get the water they need without being wasteful swimming in food.

All our kitties love this, adults and kittens. Small can will feed two kittens- in one morning feeding. No GI issues or stinky smell after eating. Best kitty food!
