Hobby Fans Upgrade Waterproof 3650 4300KV Brushless Motor 3.175mm Shaft with 60A ESC Combo Set for 1/10 RC Car Truck

I installed this motor and ESC on my classic Tmaxx. Plugged the ESC right into my original receiver and everything works as it should. There is no instructions but it seems like some of information on "Hobbywing" ESC's are applicable here. I assume this is a case of one manufacturer of the actual part being rebranded by several different companies. If the ESC beeps constantly it cannot detect the receiver, or is getting a receiver input that's out of range. I had one case where this happened after initial setup and I realized I had set my controller throttle to 70/30 instead of 50/50 control, which was causing the error. I've run the truck for a few hours now pretty much wide open throttle and never had a single issue with anything getting hot. I wouldn't recommend this for somebody who isn't a little mechanically/electrically inclined and willing to problem solve. The extra 50-100 bucks you can spend on other setups may net you some instructions, but from what I've read a lot of them are about as useful as having none.

I now own two of these esc/motor combos. Recommend getting the program card as well. Just ordered a third one for my next project. Really good for the money!

Once the motor came it looked pretty good but when I connected everything to my traxxas rustler it just keeps beeping like crazy I read the instructions I put every thing how it was supposed to and nothing happened it was just doing the same thing

ESC is exhibiting a poor startup behavior (chatters from stop, regardless of load but worse under heavier load like grass or hill). The package was actually kind of nice in that the ESC wires were terminated for an easy install and connected to the motor directly with the connectors pre installed. Unfortunate that the ESC is bad on first use. 2 stars given because technically the ESC does "work" and the motor works, but not worth what I paid for it.

Ok, I got this setup for my Axial SMT10 kit and when it arrived it was very well packaged and it was even in a nice zip up case which is pretty cool. The motor looks really nice and the ESC is basically the same as the GoolRc waterproof ESC's. It was a breeze to install and when I bench tested it everything was smooth and seemed to have a lot of torque. But once I placed it on the ground it was very glitchy. The cogging is really bad at low speed and when you pull the trigger for the throttle it just sits there until you pull the throttle back and forth a couple of times then it will finally take off when you least expect it. I may get the programmer and see if that helps. But I have never had any esc's this bad before.

The media could not be loaded.  Has its issues. Wish they mentioned how to calibrate it. My kid enjoys it in his car though. Adds speed over the stock xl5

Has some speed once it gets going, but cogs like crazy on startup. Spend the extra money and go hobbywing.

Cheap had to send the first one back the esc goes out in 30min if you have a decent esc the motor can be used no complaints with the motor but the esc is cheap
