Rust-Oleum Universal All Surface Metallic Spray Paint, Flat Burnished Amber

Cheaper than buying it at the box store. The tops leak a bit while spraying, so wear latex or nitrile gloves if you don't want paint on your hands. The spray is even and it covers well. We bought this paint (and a lot of it!) to refinish 100 year old cast iron radiators. Once we stripped them to bare metal, we painted them with this paint, then dry-brushed copper over them to get a nice antique oil-rubbed bronze look. Sealed them with a couple coats of spray lacquer and they're pretty and durable. Should last another 100 years - long after I'm gone.

I bought this spray paint hoping to give an old white garden pedestal a completely different look, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. I have a bronze lion statue that sits on my front porch, but the pedestal I purchased for it was bright white. It looked completely out of place. One coat of this hammered bronze spray paint transformed it into what looks like a matching bronze pedestal, and now it looks like they were sold together! The finish is beautiful with just the right amount of texture to give it the appearance of aged metal rather than simply painted plastic or concrete. The color is rich, warm, and has a high-end look that instantly elevated my porch décor. The paint went on evenly, provided excellent coverage, and dried to a durable finish. I was honestly amazed at how realistic it looks. Friends have already commented on it, and no one realizes it was originally white until I tell them. If you’re thinking about updating outdoor décor, planters, statues, or garden accessories instead of replacing them, this paint is absolutely worth it. It gave my project a custom, designer look for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be keeping an extra can on hand for future projects. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wasn’t perfect, but sprayer worked as it should and definitely was probably user error. It is not super sparkly but did a great job toning down these fixtures. Overall, very happy with the final product!

I used it for a diy all hanging that turned out great. Good coverage, over very dark brown, covered in 2 light coats. Dried pretty quickly. Easy to use, can be sprayed upsidedown without issue

So I bought this for my suspension parts on my jeep. They are Metalcloak and have a zinc coating wich looks gold. Mine have taken a beating and needed a little TLC. This rattle can paint is spot on looks exactly like the zinc coating. It has the primer in it so it goes on easy and is of great quality. This also matches the gold decals I have so win win. Definitely recommended. Painted my grill inserts to.

Quality product 1 can of this is my personal favorite for Hubcaps and rally wheels is TITANIUM SILVER bright clean appearance. I always add a few coats of universal rust-oleum clear coat after paint dries. This can is for my Toyota scion xB factory caps they should look great.

Update Review - increased to 5 STARS -- Contacted Rust-Oleum Customer Service - they were amazing and proactive they are FedExing a new replacement and will inform their Quality Control about the issue. VERY RESPONSIVE - BOTH THEIR PRODUCT AND SERVICE ARE 5 STAR!!!@ This paint is excellent - bought two cans - HOWEVER - the second can leaked. It was good I was wearing latex gloves to minimize clean up - which would have been minor - if the second can worked like the first. Below is a photo of the leaky can. It leaked from the very start but I had to use it to finish the job after expending the first can. I would give this 5 stars - but - the possibility of leakage and reliability is concerning. I did like the trigger paint cap - which although it was the source of the leak - was very comfortable and worked great for the first can. I will also try contacting Rust-Oleum Customer Svc Number on the can - I am certain they will help - Always a GREAT value!!

The can it shows in this review is not the one I’m reviewing. It keeps going to this color when I am reviewing the Pearl Mist that I also ordered. This Dark Cherry is a good color and I had no issues with it. I am updating my Christmas tree ornaments and wanted to freshen up the pearl ones. I could not find the color I need locally so I ordered the Pearl Mist. This paint is more clear with a little sheen to it. Not what I wanted. I’ve used this type of spray paint many times before. This can looked perfectly fine until I was shaking it and it started running down the can and splattering everywhere. Along with continuing to barely spray for a few minutes even tho my finger was not on the button, getting the spray everywhere. Needless to say it’s not usable. I may can get enough out to use a brush with it on something else. I think I’ll shop locally for paints so I can see the color and can deal with problems in person.

Make sure to use outside, or in a well ventilated space. I made the mistake of using inside, and boy oh boy, the smell was so strong, and lasted for days.

The paint seems to be old. Each coat took about a week to dry after painting even after painting in very thin coats.
