Adachi and Shimamura (Light Novel) Vol. 9

This novel is 80% about Nagafuji and Hino. I ended up skipping over all of that because I personally don't care much for their characters or their backstories. Was really disappointed.

It’s almost like a cruel joke at this point. Just hundreds and hundreds of pages of needless nothingness that doesn’t contribute to the story whatsoever. You turn the page, and it’s just more nothing. Mode characters you don’t care about, and if just goes on and on. I don’t think a single word since the main characters finally got together contributed to the story whatsoever. It’s either some weird time jump, some side character no one cares about, and the longer the story goes on, the worse they made Shimamuras character. They STILL haven’t confronted the Tarumi situation, and she treats Adachi like complete dirt. That’s when any of these characters are even mentioned at all. Why write these books? You could skip entire volumes and miss nothing of the plot. What wasted potential. I’m about to just give up.

This time it’s mostly about Hino & Naggafuni, and it answers the questions about their relationship. Plus the ending for their part and the Adachi & Shimamurra part is funny and heart warming. Can’t wait for the next novel.
