They finally got Roadblock right in this line
The fourth Roadblock in the G.I. Joe Classified Series line is arguably the most faithful and most enjoyable version of this classic Joe character so far. This exclusive set's not without drawbacks, but overall it really captures the character excellently, trading in the more sci-fi elements of the first waves for traditional gear and a portrait that's got a battle-hardened look. This Amazon-exclusive version is inspired directly by the original Roadblock G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero 3.75-inch figure from 1984, sporting the classic mustache and soul patch facial hair, angular face, removable helmet, and the outfit with camo tank top and caramel brown/orange pants. Differences from the classic figure include a holstered pistol on his right hip instead of left, a totally different large machine gun from the M2, no backpack or tripod, and no knife or sheath at all.A significant thing to know is this Roadblock reuses the lower body, arms and hands of the previous Classified Roadblock, with a new left knee that matches the pants, a new and bigger torso, and obviously a new head sculpt. The hand-held minigun sculpt is the same as the one on the upcoming RAM motorcycle's sidecar (that one's dark gray, this is dark green). The pistol, helmet, web gear and holster are all new pieces.Something different here from other Classified is the suspenders and holster being cast in a harder plastic and sculpted to fit in more specific ways, it's still flexible but not as much as most figures' web gear and separate uniform parts. Roadblock's belt connected to the suspenders is designed to go around the pants' belt to sit close or they just hover above the chest and shoulders. The holster on his right thigh is sculpted to go exactly in one position, with its belt having a cut-out going around the front pocket so the holster won't spin around like many figures in the line.Pros:+ great new portrait that captures Roadblock excellently, looks more like an adult who's lived a life of action+ top notch face printing and paint with deep, powerful eyes+ no bulky vest in the way of articulation+ the dark skin color is consistent and suits this figure's likeness very nicely+ helmet has a nice sculpt, fits so well that you can pick him up by it, and it has green paint over black interior plastic which looks fantastic+ expressive articulation with great range of motion for the most part+ Roadblock has a huge gun that doesn't look silly+ the minigun has a removable drum magazine+ sidearm looks decent, just a regular larger pistol instead of some sci-fi blaster, the dark green conveys gray so it doesn't look out of place, unlike Beach Head's lighter green weapons+ camo paint on the tank top looks perfect+ back of the suspenders sculpted to accommodate a backpack peg if Roadblock decides to borrow one from another figure+ minigun barrel assembly spins easily+ the tiny grenades sculpted to the suspenders are painted greenCons:- the standard in/out-hinged wrists don't work well with the shape of the grip on the minigun, which limits posing options severely, either the grip should have been sculpted at a different angle or the wrist should have been given up/down hinges instead- the minigun is too bulky for Roadblock to carry around casually, there's no strap or other way to comfortably lug it around- the classic weapons and outfit don't fit in well with the existing Classified Series figure styles- the belt doesn't like to stay put when posing the figure and the web gear suspenders don't move when using upper body articulation which can lead to them "floating"- minigun barrel assembly is bent from the packaging bubble- sculpting on the minigun lacks detail- the pistol holster is very thick and sticks outFor the most part, there's a lot to like about this figure and not that much to complain about. If I had to sum up why I considered giving this a 4-star instead of a 5-star review, it would come down to the wrists not working with the trigger grip on the minigun which limits pose potential, that bent barrel assembly that I shouldn't have to fix, and the web gear causing the suspenders to ride up when posing.

This is probably the best version of road block. Great sculpt. Simple is good

Great figure!
I like G.I. Joe since I saw the first Sunbow G.I. Joe cartoon TV-series, when I was a child. I had only some figures because it was hard to get in my country at that time. Now as an adult I collect action figures since 10 years. My collection is '80s, '90s TV series and movies themed, mostly 6-7 inch figures. Now after MOTUC Mattel, TMNT(Neca) I finally have G.I. Joe figures in my collection. The first wave was not my thing, but after getting Flint and Lady Jaye I got into collecting the classified line from Hasbro. I had to get this Roadblock, because the design really good matches the '80s cartoons. The figure looks really great, my figure has tight joints, which is also good. The helmet and gun is nice addition. However a M2 Browning 50. cal machine gun would be better imho, but this mini gun is really cool too. Most recommended figure for GI Joe collectors. My package arrived in time, no damage, I am very pleased! :)
