This thing is definitely a very cool. It has stars and it has galaxy mode and it has built together. The stars are actually very cool and light up the whole bedroom with a pattern among the sky and the Galaxy itself changes colors as well. The little astronaut guy also looks pretty cool. One thing I don't like about it though is that the base is detachable from the rest of the guy and the base comes off very easily. This causes the whole thing to topple over very easily so what I did is I took some glue on the bottom of the feet and glued it to the bottom. The head to also swivel is held on by a magnet and is not held on very well. So when you move it around while it's best that it kind of is this way the head will come off very easily. The green lights for the stars also are a little bit annoying as you wish that they would go in a specific direction without hitting her eyeballs because who has a table in the middle of the room that goes straight up. So it's going to be on the edge of a room and because it's on the edge the stars kind of bunch up. But once you move it around properly and get it to work it works really well and it looks really cool.

Bought this as a present and we are very satisfied with the quality and the projection. Easy settings, adjustable brightness and many different perks.

love this thing, turn it on almost every night

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this thing simply for the fun of it. Why not, it looked cool. In reality, it's completely pointless to have. But we have it in our living room and I turn it on just about every night. The star feature is neat but I worry about the laser shining in everyone's eyes. Even pets could be effected so I turn them off for the most part. The nebula feature is absolutely awesome. Even if you aren't in the living room, walking down a hallway or by a door, you can see it glowing on the ceiling. It can also be seen from our front yard between the trees. The power consumption is low enough you won't notice it on your electric bill either. I'd also imagine this would be a huge hit for little kids and rightfully so.

Only had it for a year and the nebula no longer comes on. The stars eventually start to look a bit fuzzy as well. I would agree with some reviews that it’s very temperamental. When it works, it’s a fun night light for my kids and it’s oddly soothing to go to sleep in their rooms, especially with the nebula. I would recommend, but plan on eventually replacing it with one that’s fully functioning.

We have gone through several stars on the ceiling lights/white noise machines for our daughter and so far this is the one that has been her favorite. When the moon person isn't on, she likes to play with the figure, so far it's pretty durable. I'm sure the remote works great, but I wouldn't know because she lost it 2.3 seconds after we opened the box. The light is very bright, and it does span across the entire ceiling, the light flow isn't sudden, so it's a soothing experience rather than a light show - A few others that we have tired in the past felt like a Major Lazer show. We are around 4 weeks in with this one and so far, no complaints related to the product, BUT I can tell you it's a bad time if you accidentally look directly into the light, so don't do that and I think you will like this product as much as we do.

This little astronaut is cool, the lights he projects are mesmerizing and my son uses it every night. The sleep timer to shut it off is great. He knows the settings he likes best because the stars if all are on are too much, so just the nebula and a light amount of stars is perfect. This is great!

I get comments from passersby ALL the time. "It's so cool", "what the heck is going on in there?", "what do you have in there, a projector?"...My kid feels more comfortable sleeping with some light in his room, this does that well, and its cute. I probably should invest in some curtains...
