Cut corners
I specifically looked for an umbrella with a sturdy construction, this had the fiberglass handle and all that. Unfortunately they cheaped out on the part that pushes and pulls the umbrella open and closed. So its going to break under stress really quickly and fail to hold itself open... unfortunate.
