Quel son !!!
Pour le prix, avoir un son comme ça !!!Je remplace un kit Performance de 2 voies séparées (enceinte 16,5cm + tweeter) de 300€ par ce modèle et rien à voir !Je n’étais pas content de ce premier kit donc, je l’ai remplacé pour ce jeux d’elliptiques et on n’est plus dans le même monde.Utilisation dans une Cox restaurée !Ce modèle est remplacé par les ACX-690 mais ça ne change rien dans les performances sauf pour le prix clairement plus bas !Je recommande vivement ces HP’sPour un budget de 50-60€, ça largue d’autres modèles de 200-300€ sans le moindre soucis !

surprisingly good construction and well balanced sound
You get what you pay for. I had a pair of Memphis 6x9's that I replaced with these Focal RCX-690's and there's no comparison. Placed in my 1966 Mustang with a Classic Car Stereo's USA-230 radio (only base and treble adjustments but 50w/channel). I wasn't expecting a significant improvement but was "blown away" by the sound, even though the speakers are rated for 80w RMS and my radio only maxes at 50w/channel. At low volumes the sound was moderately better. As I raised the volume, the difference became apparent. Strong, punchy base with generally well-balanced midrange and highs. From my mid-range radio, these speakers make it sound like I have a high-end system top to bottom. Very impressed with the clarity - just a little bit of shrill but that can be due to my radio not being a high-end piece. My radio volume control measurements on the display range from 0 to 100. At 54 the sound level was incredible - I couldn't get above 64 without it being too loud. But the point is, these speakers are incredible - among the best I've heard. With the limited depth rear deck in my '66 mustang, the speaker holes were just a tad narrow for the speaker cage to fit through, so I had to mount the speakers from underneath, using different bolts to run down from above the covers (I could gently peel the cover mesh off/out of the channels they are tacked in with a glue-like substance that doesn't harden), through the rear deck and through the speaker cage holes and secured with flat washers, split washers and nuts. Connections are easy. Money well spent.
