You won't go wrong buying from Cocoweb
We bought this light in 2015 for our grand piano. We liked it so well, we bought another for our local church. Recently our light switch went out so I reached back out to the company for a solution. They worked to find a solution. Through some electrical testing, we could determine the switch was bad...no other issues with the light. I was able to find a switch replacement and it works perfectly again! I couldn't be happier. This company is reputable, has functional/elegant products and customer service who is very responsive and does their level best to serve their customer base with any issues. You won't go wrong buying from Cocoweb.

Great when plugged into the wall, not so much on battery power. Terrific customer service.
5th (and final?) update1/9/2020: Pursuant to my email request, the seller issued a refund! Good for them. Thanks much. But, oddly, the refund is in the amount of $256.56. I requested only $130 and I have no idea why they refunded more than I asked for or how they came up with $256.56. In any event, I'm willing to give them back the difference between what I asked for and what they gave me if they contact me about it.Bottom line: the lamp is 5 star when operated plugged into the wall. It's maybe 1 star on battery power. Customer service is definitely 5 star. They are responsive and really try hard to please the customer.4th update, 1/4/2020: I paid $318 for the lamp. I see just now that the plug in version cost only $188 so the difference is $130, not the $30 I mentioned in my 3d update.I emailed the seller a few minutes ago requesting a refund of that $130 since the battery/remote option doesn't work. If the seller doesn't refund the $130, I'll return the item for a full refund of the $318, then purchase the plug in unit for $188. That will cost the seller more than just refunding the money straightaway but we'll see what happens.3d update, 1/2/2020: I received another battery pack from the seller even though I didn't request it. I don't know if it was in response to my 12/22/19 update, below, or because someone finally responded to my original email. Either way, I didn't bother to even open the just received battery pack and am glad to return it if the seller sends along a shipping label.BTW, the very inexpensive remote controlled dimmer I wired into the power cord of the light works great and has the added advantage of being very small and lightweight, as opposed to the large, fairly heavy battery pack.If the seller reads these reviews, I kindly ask for a refund of the difference between the cost of the light with and without battery pack. I think that was $30 and I again note that I'm happy to return the unopened battery pack I just received if the seller will furnish a shipping label. I'm also happy to return the original battery pack and the first replacement, as well.2d update, 12/22/2019: I received the replacement battery pack, installed batteries and plugged it into the lamp. The result was the same as with the original battery pack - the light was only about 75% as bright as being plugged into AC power and the light also flickered.I even bought brand new name brand batteries in case my batteries were the problem. The result was the same - not as bright and flickering. I then plugged the battery pack into AC power (the instructions say you can do that but it won't charge the batteries) and the light remained dim and flickered so it looks like the battery pack is the problem even when plugged into AC power.I abandoned the battery pack but still want to have a remote control with dimmer. That's the principle reason I paid extra for the battery pack. The battery pack has a remote control to dim the light but when plugged into AC power without the battery pack there is no dimmer. I bought a dimmer to wire into the power cord so I'm hopeful I'll end up with the light working correctly and having a dimmer. Also, the cover on the battery pack has no retaining mechanism and easily falls out if the pack is tipped. It's not only annoying but given the the cord length means the pack must be located on the piano, the top could drop onto the piano and damage it.On battery power, the light rates 1 star, maybe 2. On AC power and overlooking that it has no dimmer in that mode, the lamp rates 5 stars: it's pretty, it's bright and it get the job done nicely. Either way, customer service rates 5 stars. Let's hope the great customer service holds up when I ask for a refund of the price difference between the AC only light and the AC/battery light.UPDATED REVIEW, 12/15/2019: I emailed customer service a few days ago and described the problem. I received an automated response that they'll get back to me within 72 hours. I didn't yet hear from anyone, but it's not been 72 hours. Nonetheless, I don't know why it should take 3 days to respond so I called the customer service number.A nice fellow answered promptly. I described the problem and after confirming that I'm not using rechargeable batteries he said that he'd send out a new battery pack. It was all very quick, easy and pleasant.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The lamp is very pretty and easy to install, although it takes some effort to stow and route the cord. Stowing the battery pack is is also difficult and I haven't yet figured out where to do that. The real problem is the battery pack. I installed fresh, name brand batteries but the light isn't nearly as bright on battery power as it is when plugged into AC power. Also, the light flickers when on battery power. It doesn't flicker on AC power.I sent an email to the seller and requested that the battery pack (not the batteries, the power pack that holds the batteries) be replaced. Other reviewers had the same problem with flickering so I'm not sure getting a new power pack with solve the problem. Some reviewers report that the weight of the lamp causes the music stand on their piano to pitch forward. I don't have that problem. On AC power, this lamp is 5-star. It looks great and puts out quite a lot of light. But, I bought the battery version because I wanted the remote control and ability to dim the light. As it stands with the current battery pack, the lamp is not usable on battery power because of the flickering. If I reviewed this lamp solely considering the its operation on battery power, I'd give it 1 star.If the seller fixes the problem by sending me a battery pack that functions correctly, I plan to update this review to 5-star.

Looks good, works great, but be prepared to spend a little time setting it up
It's bright, looks good, appears it will probably be durable. But it was a surprise how much trouble it was to set up. Note that this is the 22" one, with two support arches; the smaller one may (or may not) be different.1) Make sure you have a philips head screw driver available when you open the box. If you're somewhere without access to one, you're going to be ticked off. There's no way to set it up without one.2) Trying to get both rods into the holder thingie and tighten the screw is hard to do with just two hands. Not impossible, but a third hand would help a lot.3) It arrives all flattened out. The instructions say nothing about this, and you have to pull on the arch things pretty hard to get them to swing around. They did, but I was really scared I was going to break it. And for that kind of price, you don't want to break it.4) The two arch things are really hard to get properly lined up, they want to bend a little in different directions. You keep fiddling with it and it gets where it needs to go, but it's a pain.5) And unless your music desk is quite thin you have to pry open the bit that slips over it. Again kind of scary 'cause you don't want to break it. AND you again need some kind of tool to do it, as you need a fair bit of leverage, it being pretty tough metal (a good thing, of course).6) The dimmer is kind of wonky. It just kind of hangs around on teh cord. There's a little loop thing on it, but no place I can find to clip it on, and the instructions say nothing about clipping it anywhere. It's not a problem for me, but I can imagine some folks having trouble keeping it from fouling the action of their piano if their music desk isn't as unusually high as mine is.7) In general, the instructions should be better: clearer and more detailed. Especially for something that costs this much.Anyway, I love it, and have no regrets about buying it, it meets my needs wonderfully,. Just didn't expect it to take an hour and some anxiety to get installed.
