I really like this knife. It's attractive, and extremely sharp. I split a chicken breast in half cutting it length wise horizontal to the counter top, it cut like a hot knife through butter. Feels good in your hand and is easily manageable while cutting. Very pleased so far. UPDATE: Still very pleased with this extremely sharp knife. The only problem I have had is the back of the knife blade edge, near the handle, is very sharp and comes to a very sharp point on the blade edge, I have cut myself twice on it. Most knives have that area dulled or a smooth radius. I'm going to use a honing stone to dull that up. Still love the knife!

Good price for a good knife. Great to look at. Great to use. Comes sharp, and if you take care of it, stays sharp. Next step up would cost a couple hundred bucks, and probably not whole lot better.

The media could not be loaded.  I replaced the chefs knife from a cheap knife set with this knife. The sharpness and balance are so much better that the knife fundamentally works differently. It's my first nice knife, and I don't know how it compares to others, but it is more than good enough for my home kitchen.

I have owned this knife for a year now. It is my most frequently used knife among the many that I have.

The knife is beautifully made and very sharp for the price. The Mrs always buys cheap knives because to her a knife is a knife. Well she sliced herself first time using and now she knows the difference. Only complaint is it didn't come with a sheath and she had no holders for it.
