This is a really great looking grab bar, very well made. The problem with my first order was that it arrived with one of the flange covers tightly turned all the way into the lock position, and it was impossible to remove it for the install.Amazon sent me a replacement (that I received today), and this time both flange covers were turned into the lock position, and again so tight that I am unable to remove them for installation.I called Amazon again and had them replace my order with one more of the Moen 12" Grab Bars, I have installed two of these type Grab Bars without this issue.

This is the shot peened finish bar that provides more grip. The mfr did a very good job not only bending the tight radii on the ends but putting a perfect, not overly aggressive, grip on the bar. This came with all of the mounting screws in stainless, and they are long enough to go through 3/8" tile, 1/2" of cement backer, 1/2" of plywood, and well into the stud framing. The escutcheon plates seen in the picture are nicely polished and completely cover all of the mounting hardware.These are a much better value than the Home Depot off the shelf bars. No country of origin labeling (thumbs down for that). I'm assuming China based on the price, but the quality is much higher than standard issue throwaway China made stuff.

Heavy duty. Works with our modern bathroom that has square towel rods. The finish and quality is upper range. The special anchors (purchased separately) make install an ease and it is solid on our sheetrock wall next to shower. This size is perfect to keep in one place in bathroom without it looking like a hospital bathroom and has room for two hands..

What do you say about a grab bar? It's exactly what I ordered, has the patterned section that enhances gripping ability. It's not stylish at all but so far so good!

Need a bar that was smaller that the standard 18 in you find in the stores. This one is 16 inches and fit perfectly where I needed it !

I have used this brand of help bar in my bathrooms for a long time. It's grooved bar makes it helpful with soapy hands. Would recommend to friends.

Definitely get the Wingits fastener pieces and the Apache 200 drill bit. Installed this and a sixteen inch one through marble, and it worked without a hitch.
