Nano Comes to Life has changed how I look at biology
The emphasis on including physics in biology in the book shows how wonderfully complex life is and made me appreciate the beauty of that interconnection between physics and biology, what can we do with it to improve our health and the world around us.I recommend Nano Comes to Life to everyone who is interested in science and biology.

Shift in Biology Science just by mere introduction of dimension !
Beautifull presentation of Biology Physics as new paradigm and game changer in discovering the ‘mechanics’ of building blocks in organic nature.....................

Expert scientist, poor writer
The topic is of great interest to me and the author is clearly expert and passionate. But the book is such a hard read. Not technically as she keeps it simple but it’s poorly structured and edited. Eventually, it feels like reading a list. I actually gave up 2/3 of the way through, something I hate to do.

Unsuspected Fascinating Revelations
I heard Sonia speaking on Start the Week. I promptly ordered the audio book. There is a great deal of interest and importance to be found within the covers. After listening to the audio book I got a hardback copy. One amazing reference available to all is the animation of myosin proteins walking along actin rails and transporting an endorphin molecule. Check it out on the web or YouTube. Most highly recommended.

Great read
A great nanotechnology/nanoscience book. My friend is really interested in nanoscience so I gifted her this book. She really enjoyed it.

Badly written!
I read quite a few science books written for the public, as well as some research papers occasionally. The publishers should have had a strong editor step in.

THE #1 book for nano bio!
This is an excellently-written and highly interesting book on the field of nano-bio. Most importantly it addresses a crucial and often overlooked component: physics and mechanics of interactions in the body. Recommended read for scientists and non-scientists alike!
