This is incredible and exactly what I needed for drawing nice circles. Yes, the smaller diameter circles are a little tough to spin, but if you're careful it works, and it's just such a handy little tool. I honestly can't believe how cheap it is for how useful it is.

Overall, this is a great tool to get circles. I haven’t mastered the use yet. I do think it broke a little bit, but it was easy to put back together. I’m not sure if this was a user error where I didn’t store it properly and then a little plastic bit broke off. It didn’t affect the using of it when I put it back together though. Also I find it difficult to use the tracer in the middle of it but for the price I think it’s a good tool.

Works great - tried it with acrylic on watercolor paper. It was a simple test. I found that taping the outer ring with art tape to hold it steady works the best. This should work great on 6 x 6 canvas board and smaller. The photo I have supplied is 6 x 6 watercolor paper. The paint is acrylic paint.

I try to draw everything freehand but darn those circles. They never come out that great. They will now that I have this cool Circle Maker. Hmmm....wonder if they have one for making squares.

Easy to use. Smooth mechanism for precise drawing of circles.

This multi-use tool is handy and lightweight. With measurements around the outside and multiple circle templates, it creates a variety of lines, circles and arcs. However, making circles larger than one-inch in diameter is difficult. You are supposed to place your pen or pencil tip in the appropriate hole then rotate the large inner disc of the Helix until you have drawn a full circle. My experience is that often the inner disc won't turn or turns only partway, making it very hard to draw a circle. It doesn't consistently rotate smoothly. When using the smaller circle templates, drawing a clean circle is quick and easy. Also, for precise work, I found that there is movement play in the rotating center disc, causing many circles not to be perfectly round. At other times, the whole circle maker moves while drawing and results in imperfect circles. I still like this very lightweight tool. It has many uses. There probably are higher-end circle makers out there for precise work. But, for an occasional circle or evenly sectioning out portions of a large circle, this works well.

Den lieb ich wirklich und wundere mich, dass ich ihn erst jetzt bewerte, obwohl ich ihn schon im Oktober 24 bestellt habe und fast täglich nutze ;). Auf den ersten Blick sieht man nicht gleich, was die Winkel- und Kreisschablone so alles kann, doch es macht viel Spaß alle Funktionen auszuprobieren. Klar, die kleineren Kreise sind sofort zu erkennen. Mich fasziniert jedoch am meisten die Vielzahl von etwas größeren Kreisen, die mit Hilfe der kleinen Aussparungen auf der "Achse" zwischen den Kreisen zu zeichnen sind. Der innere Teil ist drehbar und setzt man z.B. einen Bleistift in eins der kleinen Löcher hält die Schablone fest und bewegt ihn egal in welche Richtung, entsteht der perfekte Kreis. So gelingen leicht unzählige Größen. Das ist wirklich ein Must have für "Vielzeichner", um sich bei Kreisen und Winkeln mit wenig Aufwand unterstützen zu lassen.
