Works well for lemons and oranges. Havent tried it on hard cheese yet, but i'm sure it will be just fine..

This is one of my favorite new kitchen tools! For some reason it never occurred to me to use a micro grater like this for garlic, until I saw it online recently, but this works BEAUTIFULLY for that. It also does an amazing job on chocolate. I haven't had occasion to use it for anything else, but it does such an "effortless" job of the things I have used it for, I imagine it would work nicely for other applicable foods, as well.I also appreciate that it comes with a blade cover for storage -- which goes on and off just as easily as it needs to (no more, no less).

Used this yesterday for the first time on lemon (for zest) Did not grate, just slid over the teeth. No matter how much or how little pressure I applied, all the lemon did was slide over the teeth. Gave up and used another grater. Not sure why I bought this one. probably will return.On the plus side, it comes with a protective shield. The handle makes it easy to grip.

As you can see the zester has a thicker handle for ease of use - one star, it comes with protective cover -two star, I used the zester on raw turmeric and it worked really well - three star, I rinsed it and that was easy - four star, and last but not least the makers of the product are excited and I found that refreshing, five star.

A fine grater for the many reasons mentioned by other reviewers. I would like to add that I like the fact that, as I zest a lemon, while some of the gratings fall onto the work surface, most gratings remain in the channel where I can slide them out with my finger. The design makes the zesting process easy and neat and fast.

It's made of aluminum, anyway, not steel. It zests well, but cut my finger when I tried to harvest the zest. Would not buy again.

I am so impressed by the construction of this Zester Grater from the solid, sturdy yellow handle to the stainless steel zester grater blades to the plastic covering that protects the blades. Used it to grate fresh parmesan for Spaghetti the other night. And zested some fresh lime in a Tortilla Soup I made last night. It's a professional product, a good value and would highly recommend it!

I just used this zester today for the first time and it is AWHHESOME. I minced garlic and zested a lemon, both were done smoothly and quickly. I am in the middle of a move and my zester is packed up so I ordered this one- this one is so much better. Highly recommend!
