ST Racing Concepts SPTST2530B Aluminum Front Bulkhead for Traxxas 2WD Electrics, Blue

Well, it is a very nice looking part with a great fit on my 2wd Rustler. I'd give it 4.5 stars if that was an option. My only criticism is that when you convert over from the original stock plastic part to this aluminum upgrade part, you will need different screws than the ones provided. The bag kit comes with 2 screws which I couldn't use. Instead, I had to make a run to Ace Hardware to buy two M3x0.5 pan-head machine screws. And, if your stock screws got bent from bashing like mine did, you will also need to buy a handful of M4x0.7 flat-head machine screws. Be sure to pick up some blue thread locker too. Other than an extra trip to the hardware store, I really like the part. Easy to install, fit great.

I gave this 4 stars because when I read reviews I look at 4 stars and below for detailed information...that being said the screws that I had that went into the original parts would start to go in this part but wouldn't go all the way through so I went to Ace Hardware to match it up nothing would match up to go all the way through so I had to rethread the screws and tap the part. I wasn't crazy about having to do that but I do like the fact that it's an aluminum part replacing plastic and to me it was worth re-threading

This in my opinion is a core piece of an RC. There are so many components that attach to this thing. This is basically a hub for A-arms, Chassis, Camber links, front shock tower, front skid plate, and bumper! Bulkhead has to be tough to handle all that! Get Aluminum.Pictures of a head on collision with a Recycle bin out front. Everything connected to the bulkhead stayed attached...including the left over piece of my chassis and skid plate!

Having been an automotive tech I'm familiar with alignments and steering components.Easy install (remove and replace), but it appears the bulkhead angles then shock tower back a bit more then the original piece. I have the adjustable turn buckles as they call them........with a quick adjustment there everything was back in spec.Like with any add on, expect some fine tuning.

Very simple to install and a great upgrade to your steering with not having to worry about breaking it. I crashed my Bandit and ended up breaking the OEM plastic part and could of gotten another plastic one or a aluminum one that I won't have to worry about if I crash hard again. This was very simple to replace my old one with and works just as well

Worked good, but don’t use the supplied flush mount screws for the shock tower, they will snap off! Get some stainless screws before you go to all the work

It is exactly as described. Replaced my stock bulkhead and lined up perfectly! I like the blue color and will eventually replace other parts with this company's aluminum parts. Took my Rustler to the track for some bashing and it held up with no issues.
