Vinyl Siding Clips, for Hanging Clothes, Shoes, Sandals (8-Pack)

I have used these for both heavier items (60" Christmas Wreath) and lighter items (LED bulb strings) and they have worked great. The only real limitation is your siding. Typically siding is two rows on one piece so you will be limited to every other row as to where you hang the clip. I have used with vinyl siding. I would expect they would work well with aluminum siding as well. They would probably not work at all with wood siding.

I used these to hang signs and other decorations for our back deck tiki bar. We cussed a little getting them in place, it took a screw driver to pry open the siding, especially on our older siding. But once hung, they are very strong and versatile. For big items like the pictured sign, we bent them open, drilled a hole in them, and screwed through them into the wood. For little items we bent them closed and used them like picture hangers. Double sided tape did not work at all, so this was a great solution.

I used to be able to buy these at my local BenFranklin's, but they couldn't get them anymore. Was excited to find them on Amazon. They just slide up underneath the siding and hold all of my seasonal decor outside. I bought extras to share with family.

We have Joh Hardy cement siding so the traditional vinyl siding clips don't work. These lips work well but you have to be careful to find spots that are a little looser to slide the clip under. And they wont hold the recommended amount of weight because they don't hook/anchor on Hardy siding like they do on vinyl. But they work for light weight decorative items and signs without having to drill holes in your siding.

Recently had my house remodelled and I didn't want to put holes in new siding. Used these to mount a house number board on the front of the house and several decorations on the deck. Easy to mount and can hold plenty of weight. They won't break like plastic ones.

. I tried for 20 minutes to get one on before giving up and asking my husbands help. He couldn't get them on either. Now I have 8 odd pieces of metal lying around.

Purchased these to hold a large wreath. With each hook rated at 12lbs, thought 3 hooks would do for a 20lb object. Hooks quite difficult to install and not suitable for objects of that weight. Currently employed hanging a 1lb garland. They are attractive and appear sturdy, but not up to the advertised weight.

These work great for hanging items on the siding on our porch. I have a wooden welcome sign hanging up. We put new siding on our house and didnt wan't to put any nails in it.
