We use this doormat in our carport, in front of the door leading to the house. It is protected from rain and serves its purpose well.

I like this door mat, nice color and dense but there is a small tag that says it is not to be used in exposed locations. Nowhere did I see this on the Amazon site, fortunately I can use it on a porch.

As previously mentioned it is thick, make sure your door will make the clearance. Strong enough to clear the bottom of your shoes. Open enough to allow rain & air to go through it so deck won’t rot.

This is a really nice mat. Got it for the cats to use as a scratching post and it works great for the purpose it was purchased for.

I use this doormat outside my back door. It is very good for wiping shoes on. Minuses are that it stays wet during rain and that eventually moss grows on it. I still like the design, so I just buy a new one every 3-4 years.
