We bought this for my step-dad and it is beautifully crafted, if you open it the paper is "Mulchy" like it was hand pressed or compacted from a mulchy liquidy state. Hand-crafted paper, basically. Beautiful, rustic, handcrafted fantasy journal right out of a Lord of the Rings or Hobbit universe! The leather feels so wonderful and the smell of the journal. It legit smells like a leather journal. Be warned it is on the smaller side, but this sucker is THICK. LOTS of pages! Probably about the length of one's hand from wrist to middle finger tip or your longest finger(Some hands are different, I believe)Step-Dad loved it-by the way!

Love love love it!
It's a tad smaller than expected but not by much, frankly, I actually like it! I love the feel of it and the sense of it being old even though it's not. The pages are so cool and different and they weren't stingy with them either! Love this purchase. 10/10
