A solid teaching guide
I received a complimentary copy of this book and it couldn't have come at a better time. I'm not a nurse but the information was so vital to me and my neice who is in an advanced state of pregnancy. The book is organized for quick learning and goes beyond the usual question and answer format. Each question is posed, and four choices of answers are given. The correct answer is given along with the rationale for offering that answer and the reasons why the other options are incorrect. This format is very effective as it allows students to understand the reason for the choice as against simply knowing the correct answer. Lay persons like me will find the book to be a whole new learning experience. In preparing students for the nursing examination there could hardly be a better teaching guide.Full marks must be given for this improved and effective means of imparting knowledge, especially in an age when emphasis is placed on merely ticking the correct boxes.

Missing punctuation. Incorrect word forms & grammar. Circular rationales. Misuse of some terms. Multiple choice letters out of order.. Overall a cheap basuc starting point to brush up after years away but makes me wonder about accuracy of content as the book seems to have been thrown together.

Nursing Students Need This NCLEX-RN Review
I received a copy of this book for review, which I loved. I enjoy gaining insight into the nursing field because I will never go into that profession and I enjoy learning. Part of me wanted to go into the medical field, but I received a degree in another subject that I don't use. hahaThese kinds of medical review books are amazing since they go into detailed rationale about why that answer is correct. It really gives nursing students a feel for how to communicate with a patient on a human level. One question I found fascinating was related to spontaneous abortion. I think there are 4 types, which are alluded to. If you want a different read and are not a nursing student, these books are a good easy way to gain some knowledge of medicine and maybe help yourself and someone in the future.

NCLEX-RN exam
I am not a nurse and I am also not that keen on becoming one. But I do know a couple of friends that are interested in this line of profession so I thought I might dive into their world a little. I find that with this book, if I were interested in nursing then I would very much prefer to have this book in my library for sure. I love that the author didn’t just give you the correct answers but went the extra mile to explain the reason for the correct answers as well as why the rest are wrong. Really highly valuable book to have. For transparency, I got an ARC of this book.

Not a nurse, but..
I received this book and was asked to give an honest review, and I must say this would be helpful for any nurse in the field. I have a few friends that are nurses, and I will be suggesting this to them in the future. Well laid out, and it explains the reasons behind the correct answers in a well written, and documented way. Well done.
