I got what I paid for.
I got what I paid for, as in it was cheap, but did worked, but eventually broke. I managed to make it last for a few months, but it finally broke on me. The micro USB port does become disconnected from the motherboard of the device after a few times of plugging in the speaker to charge. This became very apparent after the first time I charged the speaker, as the only way afterwards I could charge it was if I held the charging pin up so as to press the charger back on the circuit board to make contact. This routine (while it managed to only be partial broken) got very tiresome as I could not just have the speaker sit and charge, I had to actively hold the plug up so the speaker would charge. It was not the charging wire, as I used several different ones but still the same effect.I did take it apart to try and see if I could solder the connection back together, but when I saw how the device was made, there was no way I could fix it, as the soldering was under the micro USB port, and thus no way of me accessing without destroying the speaker entirely.Until the manufacturers create a stronger connection to the charging port, I would not buy this speaker at all. It will break, and you will just become frustrated and waste money. Buy something a bit more expensive to ensure quality.I do admit though, the only good thing that came of this product is it showed me how much I love the idea of a bluetooth speaker in the bathroom.

Maybe others are built better and I was just unlucky
This speaker worked well for about 10 minutes until the battery died. When I tried to plug the cord into the unit. the charging port fell inside the speaker. Unfortunately, I tried fixing it myself. I opened the unit thinking the port was somehow connected to a wire and just plugged into the hole on the side of the speaker from the inside. What I found was the charging port is actually soldered to the circuit board and just broke off.Because I tried to repair it myself I know I can't return it. Lesson learned but I'm only out $12. Maybe others are built better and I was just unlucky.

Runs low on power.
Descent sound but runs out of juice within an hour or so. Best if you can keep it plugged in if using for awhile.

Works pretty good for the price. One complaint would be how long the battery last. Doesn't stay charged for very long.
