Great for beginners

I must admit that I very rarely give 5 stars and I'm inclined to believe that this is because I don't rush reviews. I was certain that over time I would find something to complain about :) However I have been using these monitors vigorously for some time and I just can't seem to find any notable problems. The build is excellent and only comes second to the incredibly clean sound. Now I have to admit that I'm not an audiophile, but I do a lot of video work in studio and out so these come in handy when I'm editing audio. Overall I think these monitors are a really solid choice and a huge bang for your buck. I'd highly recommend these. **Bonus - The white version looks Awesome with a white setup

I've had my eyes on a pair of studio monitors for a few years. I'm not an audio engineer or an audiophile, but I do appreciate good sounds. I've had a pair of Sennheiser 6XX headphones for a few years, and I love them. Going from my nice headphones to a cheap pair of computer speakers was such a bad experience that I wanted quality monitors for non-headphone listening.These speakers are great. I immediately noticed the neutral EQ. I don't care for headphones or speakers that tinker with the sound without my input. I'm able to adjust the EQ on my computer based on what I'm listening to, and the speakers respond to all the changes beautifully. And the sounds quality doesn't distort when you turn them up. I doubt that I've reached even one quarter of the total volume these are capable of. I'm using these in a fairly small room, so I don't ever plan to turn them up.These are amazing, and I sure I'll have them for years.

The media could not be loaded. Bought these for my boyfriend as a gift, they’re so crisp and clean. Love the white look to go with our aesthetic. He does DJ’ing on the side and knows all about how these work and did so much research. The sound is noticeably different, just comes out so clean. Highly recommend!

The Yamaha HS5 monitors are great for any musician, music enthusiast, or audiophile. I previously have the KRK Rokit 6 G3 monitor speakers and decided to step down to something smaller like these. A great buy for the new studio and they are aesthetically pleasing.

Clear, crisp, detailed. Have literally left friends in tears after their favorite songs. Great for mastering. Works great in an apartment. Zero complaints.

The sound so good, i would say perfect if only they responded below 54hz. It annoys me the fact that everything is really good, the quality, the clearness, the potency, etc, very good... But you just can't mix below 54hz cause it responds at too low volume
