Cheaper than Bauers, but not worth it
I rarely write product reviews, but these skates definitely merit one. After years of enjoying Bauer Vapor skates, I had to buy another pair after my skater ourgrew them. These 5th Element skates looked like a great, money saving alternative to the Bauer skates I really wanted to buy. After less than 2 months of very casual use on smooth pavement, the bolt connecting the chassis to the skate popped out. That is a seriously dangerous problem because if you don't notice it right away and keep on skating, it's anyone's guess when the wheels are going to stop spinning completely. Anyone who doesn't have hockey player skating skills could have a very serious problem. In short, these are poorly made and I learned the hard way why I should've just spent the money on the Bauer skates that I already know are made well (both their ice and inline skates). My advice to anyone who wants to buy these skates but can't afford Bauers, add the following item to youur order: SCStyle Inline Skate Wheel 15/64" Shaft Hex Socket Screw. I paid $6.99 for a set of 10 and it worked to put the chassis back on the skate. With these skates, it's not an if the chassis will fall off, but a when, and you should have extra bolts handy when it happens. Also, I advise everyone to check the wheel bolts after every use because I find they loosen easily and require re-tightening after an hour of skating. Just as soon as my skater outgrows these, I will budget and save up for higher-quality skates.

... long time since I really got out on some good inline skates
It's been a long time since I really got out on some good inline skates. My last pair were hard shell macroblades from the 90's and they broke a few years ago after many years in the closet. Now my son is old enough to learn and I'm getting out with him in our new skates. These are good quality, especially for the price. The wheels didn't all roll very well even after some break in time. Lubricating the bearings helped, I ordered some speed cream along with them. I'm a little disappointed that they don't come with an axle kit to remove the brake. My son's kid skates did and they were half the price of these. I actually stole his to do it, and used a couple of washers to make up the spacing gap. I also replaced the insoles, which were paper thin, for some foot comfort. All in all, I like them. I can see myself getting something a little higher end down the road, but these are great for skating through the park trails and going around the rink. It's good exercise and it feels great.

Defective model
Bought these as a present for my boyfriend's birthday but after about 4 skating sessions he started complaining about his right foot hurting to the point that he couldn't walk, nor stand. After letting it heal for about a week and a half he tried to skate again but the pain was starting to come back. I demanded that he let me try them to see if if I felt it to and immediately after skating for a few minutes I started feeling like they weren't completely straight and that might be causing the issue. It's only the right skate because the left feels right. Unfortunately my return period has passed because I bought them ahead of time as a present because of the whole situation that's going on. I would like my money back because I feel like these is dangerous and might cause long term foot problems.

Almost there!
Ive had these skates for about a month now and i use them at least twice a week..i go everywhere with them and theyve been holden up very well. Theses are my second pair of skates so i want these to last little longer so i went with these. They dont feel cheap but not the highest quality either. The only draw back is that these dont have the best feet support so u might consider dr scholls but other then that, great buy!

Don’t get if advanced
This is a great product but.... if you’re advanced and need skates don’t get these. their horrible if you want to customize them. If you’re just looking at the price it’s fine

If you need to return prepare to pay
The skates run large. I am a size 9 shoe but the skates in a 9 didn't fit well, caused my ankles to buckle and hurt. In returning them I was charged 11 dollars as well. So skates that don't fit and 11 dollars of my money wasted. I will never buy skates on Amazon or from this vender ever again

Has great wheels and a great fit
I wear a size 10 and a half shoes and I bought these rollerblades in size 10 and they fit perfect. I would recommend having some thick socks because they do squeeze a little bit on the sides also I am a beginner in these roller blades are for a little bit intermediate but they roll so smooth and solid that I refuse to return them

Worth the price
I ordered pair of rollerblades off the internet for under $100, without trying them on. They fit well and are comfortable as can be for someone just getting back to the sport after a decade away from it. Not a high end set of racers and I'm not sure I would trust them long for a rough old game of roller hockey but they are just perfect for my present goals of getting back into the sport.
