I think this is one of the most beautiful soaps I have received. It almost has a woodgrain appearance with a shimmer like natural maple. While the directions and its size indicate that it is for handwashing, I used it in the shower. The lather was just right and lasted long enough in a sponge net to wash from head to toe. It seemed to clean without drying my skin. The fragrance is mildly spicy and would work for any gender. As is often the case with artisan soaps, the bar was slightly underweight at 94g, though I appreciate that it’s wrapped in waxed paper rather than plastic which might help it retain more moisture. This soap is imported from Italy. I’m really pleased with this plant-based soap and recommend it.

It measures 2.5 x 2.5 inches. But it produces a good lather and has a really nice scent. I really like using glycerin soap, and this one felt like it left my hands softer than usual. I really liked this soap and it will be going to the guest bathroom soap dish. Made in Italy.
