Plentiful Scriptural references! Loved it as a Woman! Have gone through it 3 times now!
First, this book abounds with Scriptural references (read to the end ... and do your homework all the way through it!). (PS God Himself, when He wrote the book of Esther through the Holy Spirit, didn't even refer ONCE to Himself ... no mention of God ... but He was everywhere in the Book!) Second, masterful weaving of Scriptures, history, personal experiences, and challenges to GROW. Next, I read it as a woman working to become a Warrior for Christ ... I believe that is the calling for us all as Believers (not just men! :). I get the authors were writing for men as that is the audience they are speaking to ... I just challenge women to read or listen to this book too. Life and faith transforming! Finally, so far I have listened to the audio book twice and read the book once (Lots of highlighting and notes). I have recommended it a number of times already. If you read this book ... you Will be changed. As a Christian Life and Courage Coach ... I highly recommend it. Thank you Brothers for writing this!

A true warriors handbook
I found this book to be very inspiring and insightful into our innermost “voice” that says I believe and I will do what’s right and just at all costs because it’s God’s work.

Beautiful and wonderfully made book
Beautiful and wonderfully made book. As a military veteran it is important to have your faith grounded in Christ. We know that there is a war going on but sometimes as Christians we ask ourselves whether others face the some similar challenges. The authors of the books talk about the parallels between war in the military and war as a Christian. It is real and they offer some advice from their personal walk with Christ on how to remain a warrior and move forward to do God’s work. I love the book.

A powerful resource for victory of every man in this world.
a powerful book filled with truth for the Christian male. I highly this for everyone who needs to understand that we are in a battle every day against the enemy of our souls, as long as we are on this earth. This book provides an insight into winning the war we are caught up in with our brothers by our side.In the military or not, this is an excellent resource available to every man.

Amazing read
This book is an awesome read! As both a Christian in today's world and a Soldier in today's American military, this book brings continued hope and renewed passion to continue walking with Jesus and serving my country! Highly recommended for all Christians; especially those who suit up and defend our great nation!

Jerry Boykin's portion is good, dissappointed with Stu's chapters.
Jerry Boykin writes and relates his stories well, I just wish he had written the whole book . Stu Weber writes about himself without identifying who he is (I found out later that Jerry identifies all his chapters at the top heading). There are a few good stories (examples) which are the best parts of the book , some in our time, some biblical. I found Stu's chapters hard to read, as he writes assuming I am an American who must have seen "Saving Private Ryan" (among other things) and I understand all the ranks from private on up. Having to read his quotes of other peoples books and expounding greatly on them I also found quite annoying. I had to force myself to finish this book (ended up reading Jerry's last few chapters first); usually I read a book in 1 to 3 days. An improvement in the book would have been how Rees Howell's prayers kept Adolph Hitler from invading England. Absolutely nothing in the book about the horrific American or British war crimes (written by Stu through USA colored lenses). I wonder if the LORD directed Stu to even write this book, or if it was his own endeavour. I really don't like war movies or war photography, I believe the enemy LOVES war as it brings multitudes into his hellish kingdom. I bought this book mainly because I was impressed by Jerry Boykin on the Jim Bakker Show. Perhaps others will like it, but I did not enjoy three quarters of this book.
