Page Turning Thriller
A fast-paced adventure-filled saga in the fourth edition of the Harker Chronicles. Just as Prof. Ales Harker settles down in his new role in the Templars after vanquishing the Magi, he is drawn into a new mysterious exorcism event that occurs at a remote farmhouse. As the Jarl of the templars, Alex is out to uncover the mystery and gets embroiled in an ancient prophecy of three days of darkness. Assisted by his friends Carter and Tom, he is enlightened to an ancient religious sect, who have emerged after several years from the hidden dark shadows to overthrow the teachings of the church and instill a new religious belief in mankind. As he wades into the depth to unfold the sinister truth, he is confronted with a spine-chilling reality about his childhood and his father. The realization of the existence of a more powerful adversary than Magi in the form of Mithras, the secrets they hold, and their heinous plan to obliterate the templars and reign supremacy over mankind sends a jolt to Alex and he attempts a miraculous escape from the dungeons of Mithras. A page-turner in the series with twists and turns, this book will certainly hold your breath. Strongly recommend reading Harker Chronicles in the order. Great research into the history blended with fictional plots by R D Shah. Looking forward to the next one and hope to see more in the series. A good read for fans of Dan Brown.

TOO CONFUSING FOR ITS OWN GOOD?
Hopes were high here. Fourth in a popular series. Alex Harker the central character in Indiana Jones mode - he a Cambridge Archaeology Professor guaranteed exciting adventures in exotic places whilst exploring mysteries of the past. This time round an apocalyptic theme: with just days to go, he seemingly the one most able to prevent the end of life as we know it. What an opening too - one sequence truly horrendous, another a great tease!Clearly time to settle down to a gripping read....Sadly there came only disappointments. A narration somewhat pedestrian, contrivances ever more ludicrous, novel in due course to become bogged down in lengthy explanations.Sadly thus not for me, but be advised that many have enjoyed.

This out Browns Dan Brown!
I have read all the Harker Chronicle books & they have given me huge enjoyment. My biggest problem is having to put one down. In this book our heroes are off to Italy on an extraordinary adventure. Once more Templar led. Great enjoyment from following the twists & turns in the story & the was no way I could pre guess the ending.

Great follow up to the story
This was a good read. Much better than the previous book. Great heart pounding story telling. Big boy scene taken from mad max was ok. Onto the last book in this series.
