It is as described.Not the fastest shipping.Looks to be a well-machined tool.

Sturdy & fits perfectly against the muzzle nut.

Well made(is heavy for it's size),works like it should(removed barrel nut in few seconds with impact wrench) & like other reviews have mentioned,Is quite expensive for something you really only need once or twice.But since this is not available for rent & buying something from the manufacturer directly is even MORE expensive,It's the lesser of 2 evils as they say. Recommend to anyone who is in need of this for their KSG & doesn't mind spending the money.

This works perfectly to remove the barrel nut from a KSG. The material seems to be high quality, and the construction of the tool as well as the shape of the barrel nut itself gives me confidence that I can continue to add and remove muzzle brakes / choke adapters.This came with lots of instructions including pictures.Used a torque wrench to remove the barrel nut. You would be glad to have something with a lot of leverage.

I wish there was a rental program for this tool as it is a one time use and then never again. This is a lot of money for a socket that only fits one specific shape and never gets used more than one time. But it works perfectly at what it is required to do, I tried everything, and I mean everything, vise grips, pipe wrench, heat to loosen it, just about everything besides cutting the original barrel nut off and this tool did it in 30 seconds.

Ok I don’t usually write reviews but here goes …… It took literally three seconds and the barrel nut was off! I used a Milwaukee 12v impact driver and a 1/2" socket adaptor. I tried using a breaker bar and a gun vise but was afraid I would break the polymer body and/or the fore grip trying to secure it and twist the nut off. Used battery powered impact driver and "zip", the nut was off in 3 seconds. There were no scratches to KSG. Used rubbing alcohol to clean threads, Blue Loctite 242 and the Howitzer 70 was installed in under 5 minutes.

Item arrived as described and on time.I have already used this item to remove the barrel nut with ease. Zipped the nut off in less than 30sec.It is very simple to use if you have access to an impact driver (the one I used in attached link)  DEWALT Bare-Tool DC825B 1/4-Inch 18-Volt Cordless Impact Driver . Just be sure you have a 1/2in attachment for the quick coupler.

The price is ridiculously high! But needed to bust the barrel nut. Wow, one time use. Need to be able to rent one.
