Wiha36291 Screwdriver Set, Torx, 6 Piece

These are standard Wiha quality. maybe not perfect but top notch. The only reason I say not perfect is because the molding sprue for the rubber handles is not cleanly cut off and the parting lines didn't match perfectly. It drive me nuts, I have to have a completely smooth surface and had to sand the handles where the sprue and parting lines were sticking up. Most people wouldn't even notice this but I'm very particular about the tactile feel of my tools. It gives me pleasure to use a beautiful tool that feels phenomenal and looks great too.

I use these for a number of things, including tuning my knives. The size range is perfect and they are precision cut to spec and I have absolutely no issues with stripping. They hold up under a fair amount of torque, just be careful as those stems can only handle so much. The handles are ergonomic and feel comfortable, even after prolonged use. They're an incredible value for the money if you're looking for a good set that'll last you a long time.

This is written after just one use of two of the drivers, so it is a first impression.The drivers are packed lose in a simple labeled box, that says very clearly "Made in Germany." Each driver is also marked, in tiny print that it is German made. The build quality looks good.

Very high quality buy these once or cheap many times

Broke the clip on my edc when it got stuck on my seat belt. That made it easy for mr to put a gas station lighter/torch on the screw heads and heat them up to unstick the thread locker. Came right Se are good, but just good enough. I would pick good steel and cheap plastic every time, but… for the price they couldn’t enclude a cheap plastic holder?

I used a slightly older version of these full size red handled Torx drivers for years. I bought this set to fill in gaps and for tasks like knife scale removal where you sometimes need the same size driver from two sides. I was hoping they would be as good as the originals, and in my experience they are. The only difference I find is in slight changes to the printing on the handles. Research and use indicates that everything else is the same; same steel, same hardening. etc. Today I used them to loosen a very stuck T6 screw in a Chinese Spyderco. It took a very tight grip on the barrel spacer with channel locks, but the Wiha was able to break the screw free with zero damage to the torx tip. I probably should have heated the parts first, but it turned out fine anyway. I trust these tools and don't know of any better quality available.

Correct size and cannot be destroyed. CANNOT!
