This chocolate bar is made from rare cacao that we discovered growing along the slopes of Colombia's Sierra Nevada coastal mountain range. The cacao is a mix of cultivated and wild-grown, harvested by the Arhuaco indigenous people and settlers to the region. On a day-long journey, cacao is collected in jute sacks on the backs of mules. The chocolate has a distinct auburn color and rich caramel, fruity and nutty flavors.
