Bubba 12 oz Flo Bottle Fusion (Blue)

Have 2 of these bottles—1 from Amazon, 1 from Target—and they are perfect for my boys. My 3 year old sometimes has trouble with closing the top enough to lock it but the top is closed. I'm OK with that since it means the top is very secure (besides, I can imagine it may get easier with use and he'll get stronger as he gets older anyhow.)I have a Thermos brand stainless insulated bottle with a locking snaplatch top, and have found that to be an ideal approach for preventing leaks while providing easy one-handed drinking.All our bottles go in a messenger bag for our weekend suburban excursions and though they invariably tip over and shift around, they don't leak. A 12 oz bottle is OK for a couple hours of high activity for young kids during moderate weather and might even last a day for just running errands but you'll need to plan refills in warm weather for bigger kids.Unfortunately, the plastic construction limits the benefits of the double walled insulation so, while it does help keep the water cold, it won't be ice cold like a good metal bottle.

I usually buy the Bubba water bottles with the rubber sleeve, but this time decided on a different design and was disappointed. After 2 days of taking the water bottle to school my son dropped it on the the ground and it broke. The quality of this water bottle is definitely not as good as the other one that they make with the rubber sleeve.

This is my favorite water bottle for my daughter. Pros: It's an open spout with no straws or gaskets. There's no where for mold to grow and it's super easy to clean. My daughter absolutely loves it. Cons: The lids are FRAGILE!!!!! The grey clip (which locks the lid) breaks off quite quickly with normal usage. And, the lid snap/closure mechanism will break completely if the bottle is dropped on a hard surface. Given the price, the bottles should be more durable. BUT - I still have not found any water bottle I like better despite the fragile factor. If the lids were more durable, I'd easily give this five stars.

We've got 6 of these bottles in 2 sizes and they're all great. They're extremely easy to fill and clean and keep drinks cold for hours. I haven't had the issues that some other reviewers have had with breakage even though my boys drop them fairly frequently.
