The King of the West: Path of the Ranger, Book 7

I have just finished Book 7 the King of the West , all I have to say is that I keep reading and reading and every story is just outstanding . Looking forward to book 8 . Thank you again Pedro for stories .

I’m a mom of 10 years old son and I have read all of this series and already pre-ordered for the next one. I’m already hooked and emotionally invested to these characters. I love how characters evolved throughout this series. There are so many valuable lessons and inspirations that I know will influence my son. He hasn’t started reading it but I’m holding til the summer before he starts the first year at middle school. Romance- very clean and simple. Violence- during the war scenes- it’s pretty intense and well described, but appropriate for middle schoolers. My favorite is the interactions between Lasgol and his two partners - Ona the panther and Camu the handsome lizard. I look forward to the next book.

This book tries to maintain the personalities of the main characters and does a pretty good job. But we must anticipate and expect that the serious nature of what they are involved in will begin to have an impact on their personalities and that may change things.I enjoyed the story and the fact that it foreshadows a future different than the present, I hope.

I'm glad that everyone makes it through the war safely. I'm sad at the lackluster ending of the war, but as always, it could have been way worse. Onto the next....

I am very humbled by the creativity this author continues to demonstrate in this series. His characters are noble and very human. They are put into continually fresh and riveting storylines with huge challenges they barely overcome. I always look forward to the next book in the series👍

I really enjoy reading this book. I have read all the first series of this book until number 7 which I found harder to find. So I ordered on Amazon.

Just finished book 7 and seemsveach book gets better and better !Always personal issues that every one brings with them that must be overcome to manage personal success !!The story line is a major sweep through many people who arrive to Ranger school !!! Itveither draws people to you or pushes people away !!!Thes traits when properly dealt with can bound personal friends for life or cause people to live a very lonely life !!!But when the right people come together in the right circumstances they become inseparable !!!The right friends can be your life saver in more ways than you ever thought !Its a story of self discovery and discovering just how all you friends are all about, brings greater strength to their group !Constant unexpected situations and outcomes are always popping up !!!A very intertaing avenger series of magic exotic animals and birds, forest survival for poisen remidues sand healing knife and arrow wounds.So reminds me of John Flanagan's. Rangers Apprintice and Brothers Band combined !!!I'm in my 70s and found this series a refreshing adventure of discovering themselves and the discovery of who their true friends truley are !Recommend this series to any one and any age !Charles R.

This is a good book but it could go without all of the focus on how he gets so happy when he sees something he likes. Overall this is a good book but needs room for improvement. It would have been a lot better if he had not spent so much time talking about how Lasgol was so happy and lucky for everything that came his way.

Like the other books it was great, difficult to put down and just wish that I had stumbled upon this series when all the books were already written, now it seems I will have to wait until Jan 21 for the next book. Keep writing Pedro, great books and a great story!
