Great trekking poles, except for the snow baskets
I really enjoy hiking with these trekking poles, on bare ground or in snow. They are comfortable and sturdy. I have used them about 10 times on mountain hikes in the Northwest, and am quite happy with them. The only problem is that the snow baskets do not screw down securely and do not seat firmly -- they are always loose and will fall off the first time you use them in snow. The mud baskets tighten down snugly and stay on properly, but the threads on the snow baskets are smaller and don't appear to be made specifically for these poles. I had the exact same problem with my last set of poles (different brand). My fix for the JUNYU poles was to go to a recreational equipment store and pay several dollars for some replacement snow baskets, which did tighten down very snugly. Also, the handles on one pole came unglued and slide down the pole while in use. Some glue was needed to keep them in place.

Great for Granny!!
This is my first experience with trekking poles and I am thrilled with them. When I was researching the poles, I tried to compare the features that were considered most desirable while staying within a reasonable budget in case I found I did not like using the poles. What I have found in just a couple of days is that I am enjoying my walks immensely more because I no longer have to watch the ground as I take each step. My rhythm while walking has improved and I am much more confident walking our rough trails. Since I am not familiar with the many different trekking poles out there, I can't compare against others, but there isn't a thing on these that I would change. I love the cork handles and the carbon fiber is lightweight and appears sturdy. They are very easy to adjust for the correct height or to reduce for storage. They have handy little marks on them so you know exactly where to set them back if you have reduced them. They also come complete with attachments for varying ground conditions and a storage case. Couldn't ask for more!!!

So far so good
Great. I am not a thru hiker, more like a 5 day or weekend backpacker. This is a excellent set of trekking poles. I've used them for several day hikes and setting up a tarp shelter with no problems whatsoever. The cork is comfortable on the hands and the locks have not slipped. I will update if I have problems but so far so good.

Good lightweight carbon fiber poles
Good lightweight carbon fiber poles. Collapsible with flip-locks for easy size adjustment. Many extra tips. Reasonably priced. However one advertisement correction, these poles are NOT anti-shock. There is no mechanism to buffer impact. However that is not important to me. Plus the cork & foam handles on one of the poles were loose requiring me to re-glue them firm to the pole. All' fine now and I like the poles particularly the lightweight carbon fiber feature. They seem durable but only time will tell.

Great quality, nice price.
These Mr. Thai carbon fiber trekking poles are great. I love their features such as lightweight, nice cork grips, nice carrying case and the useful attachments. Super impressed with the quality and the price. Not many people can afford the $300 hiking poles and I found it is not necessary to spend your money too much on it, as all I need could be found from this Mr. Thai set. Why not?

great hiking sticks.
Love these sticks. First road test was excellent. Light weight and strong. Cork handles assured cool hand comfort especially on a hot day in Arizona.I have suggested to the supplier that he provide a directions for use insert with the sticks. If one is coming from wood sticks to these units then the easy to use flip button release/locks for pole extension are a mystery to be solved.

These walking sticks worked great and for the most exactly as described
These walking sticks worked great and for the most exactly as described. The only reason I did not choose a 5 star review is because these were not mind blowing out of this world great. I like to save the 5 stars for something that exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this item to friends and family.

Don’t hesitate
Great poles. True to weight in description. I’ve used them for short hikes, and about 90 miles on the AT so far. I also used them as poles for my tarp shelter in high wind. They’ve never slipped for either use. There was however a rattle to them that I thought was annoying, but that was easily fixed by sliding the poles apart and adding a bit of tape to the ends before putting them back together. But for the price it’s reasonable to expect to do a little fine tuning. So far there’s no reason I wouldn’t buy them again.
