Great to fix Anticipation shooting
My Husband is a firearm instructor and these have been GREAT at self correcting any anticipation shooters, Also great to become familiar with the mechanics and operations of a weapon without risking injury. We have purchased three different calibers.

Great tool for IA and reload drills
Nice quality snap caps that help any shooter practice their fundamentals and IA drills. The floor fluorescent tips are a very nice feature when trying to find them on the range/your training area. A little on the expensive side, but you are paying for quality.Pros:- Florescent Tips- Quality feel and makeCons:- Price- Small Quantity

Good practice.
These are great to have for practice. Whether it be reloading a mag, racking the pistol slide, or clearing jams.

Don't keep loose live ammo in same room!
Practice Routine1) Clear pistol and empty ALL live rounds out of magazine.2) Load magazine with Dummies & insert mag into pistol.3) Perform Draw&Rack drills; clear pistol at end of each drill4) Break up routine by switching hands or by racking on belt or other fixed object using only one hand.5) Collect Dummies off the floor and reload magazine.6) Notice that you've put two live rounds in with the Dummies.WHOOPS!Add step 1.5) Place all live rounds in box or drawer where they are not accessible.7) Repeat.Seriously. This practice is all about developing muscle memory. You start to do it unconsciously, just like driving. And just like driving, lack of attention will cause accidents. Don't have accidents.Review- Cycles fine in my Springfield XDSC & XDS- light weight resembles empty brass (more realistic ejection)- bright color easy to find when they roll under the bed- love that they are not easily confused with real ammo (see above)- essential for practicing Israeli draw (draw and cock in single motion)- essential for practicing proper weapon handling and developing muscle memoryGun control means practice, practice, practice.

Dry firing broke my ejector
I've mainly been using these to safely practice reloads around the house with my glock g45. Although I normally do dry fire practice with an empty chamber, I also did some dry firing with these in the chamber last week. One of the rounds became stuck after dry firing and wouldn't eject so obviously I kept trying until ejection occurred.I tried dry firing and ejecting several more rounds after that without issue, however using the round that caused the problem above repeatedly became stuck again.Result: Broken ejector. The problematic round seems to have its primer area pushed in, so maybe that's why it fails consistently now.I only gave this product 3 stars because they worked great until I started also using them for dry firing.
